Job Description
The incumbent shall be responsible in the over-all warehouse operations of the distributor. He is responsible in ensuring the maintenance of the warehouse, stocks, tools and equipment that is essential to assure on-time services and delivery. br>
EQUIPMENT: Warehouse equipment and Stocks
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS
1. Responsible for the opening and closing of the warehouse door and gate.
2. Conducts regular inspection of warehouse facility for possible problems on ventilation, lighting, flooding, and the like.
3. Ensure that warehouse is designed and stocks are properly plotted and arranged based on the pre-designed warehouse lay-out.
4. Ensure that warehouse equipment and tools are properly accounted and in good condition for operational use.
5. Observes strict warehouse guidelines in product stocking, handling and inventory.
6. Make sure that pop materials and or additional merchandising paraphernalia are properly arranged, and maintained in a specific location.
7. Facilitates stocks loading to delivery team.
8. Performs other tasks as assigned by his/her superior if deemed necessary.
B. PRODUCT/STOCK INVENTORY
1. Spearheads actual stocks counting and product lay-out in the warehouse.
2. Receives actual stocks delivered by principal.
3. Supervises warehouse personnel in receiving stocks delivered from principal. Conducts checking actual stock count vs. receiving invoice. Facilitates audit on stock-pilling and re-inventory.
4. Conducts counter-audit of stocks for pallet lay-out in facilitation of truck loading, using the pick list summary.
5. Conducts re-inventory of warehouse stocks daily.
6. Validates data from the system generated data vs. actual inventory.
7. Reports any inventory discrepancy that may arise after actual warehouse inventory.
C. PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
1. Ensure that good stocks are properly arranged , with compliance of the approved stocking level on each category.
2. Ensure First In- First Out (FIFO) of stocks according to its best before date.
3. Keep loose but good stocks to the designated loose section for monitoring.
4. Receives return good stocks and ensuring it will be returned back in the warehouse in proper order.
D. DELIVERY OPERATIONS
1. Facilitates truck loading assignments to delivery crew, to ensure non-conflict in delivery route and stocks loading.
2. Coordinates delivery concern in field to office personnel.
