As a Live Medical Scriber, you will play a crucial role in supporting the psychiatrist by real-time documenting patient encounters, updating medical records, and ensuring the highest level of accuracy and compliance in all documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately document patient histories, assessments, and treatment plans during virtual or recorded psychiatry sessions.
  • Review and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) with precision and compliance.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines at all times.
  • Communicate professionally with patients and doctors, as needed, to clarify details and ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure timely completion of notes and reports for provider review and approval.
  • Assist with other administrative and medical assisting tasks, as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience
     in LIVE medical scribing, transcription, or medical assisting (psychiatry experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of 
    medical terminology
    , human anatomy, and mental health-related terms.
  • Experience working in healthcare settings, particularly psychiatry, is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency with 
    Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
    .
  • Fast and accurate typing skills
     – must pass a typing test.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Experience working with U.S. clients and time zones.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant medical certification (preferred but not required).

Pay: $5 – $5.50/hr (based on client assessment)

Schedule: 3-5 days/week, 8 hrs/day, US Eastern Time
