Key Responsibilities:

• Siguraduhin ang kaligtasan ng kargamento sa bawat biyahe mula sa loading, transport, hanggang sa unloading.
• Mag-inspeksyon araw-araw ng sasakyan bago gamitin (oil, tubig, preno, gulong, ilaw, at iba pa).
• Sundin ang tamang rutas at delivery schedule ayon sa itinalagang trip ticket o delivery order.
• Makipag-ugnayan sa dispatcher at warehouse personnel ukol sa delivery status.
• Magsagawa ng basic troubleshooting kung sakaling magkaroon ng minor na aberya sa daan.
• Magsumite ng daily trip report at iulat ang anumang insidente o problema sa biyahe.
• Panatilihing malinis at maayos ang sasakyan na ginagamit sa araw-araw.

Qualifications:

• May valid Driver's License (Restrictions 1, 2, at 3).
• Minimum of 2 years driving experience sa parehong linya ng trabaho (preferably with experience in delivery or logistics).
• Malinis ang driving record; walang history ng reckless driving o major traffic violations.

FUNCTIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct daily pre and post inspection of the company delivery unit to ensure the unit is in good running condition and cleanliness is maintained.

Strictly observe the 11 General Orders for truck drivers:

Drive safely at all times and observe the B-L-O-W-B A-G-E-T-S procedures.

Drive only with a valid and unexpired Driver's License.

Strictly No Drinking of Liquor while on duty.

No Riders/Hitchhikers allowed.

No Smoking inside the Truck.

Observe Traffic Rules and Regulations, signs, precautions and warnings.

Show Courtesy to Customers and observe delivery procedure.

Observe hygiene and wear proper uniform.

Report immediately any accident or damage to the truck.

No contraband or any prohibited items inside the truck.

No pilferages and false liquidations.

Exercise utmost due diligence and care when driving to avoid untoward accidents which will result to property damage, unnecessary breakdown, and damage to parts of the unit or endanger the life and limbs of persons or even death.  Strictly implement and uphold the GOP and SOP practices of the Company such as providing timely and accurate Daily Trip Report indicating km run and time.  Responsible for the safety of the delivery crew.  Ensures that truck temperature is within standard level, depending on product requirement. This is to avoid damage to products/goods throughout the entire trip.  Primarily responsible for the safekeeping of the cargo, goods or merchandise to avoid shortages or loss and is liable in the event of neglect or pilferage.  Coordinates immediately with Fleet Maintenance for any problems on the truck, such as the engine, electrical, body parts, accessories, thermo or refrigeration system and other maintenance-related activities like changing of oil, replacement of tires and other repairs of wear and tear on the vehicle.  Ensures he has the Authority to Drive any other truck or vehicle assigned by the Company. Drive only in accordance with the Driver's License Restriction.  Maintains cleanliness and washing of truck after every delivery.  Promptly informs the company of any traffic violation tickets issued against the company vehicle during working hours.  Ensures that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing.  Acts as a responsible representative of the Company to its Clients and Customers.  Ensures close coordination with the immediate superior on the daily itinerary to optimize consumption of fuel.  Performs other related functional duties and responsibilities inherent in the position as Driver and other tasks which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
