This role will support the finish good satelitte business as part of the enineering team.

What you will do

• Perform diagnosis / troubleshooting on production failure or product quality issue and involvement with engineer on necessary corrective/preventive actions.
• Assist in updating or create new reports like Assembly Work Instruction and procedure, failure analysis report and process validation reports.
• Provide assistance in setting up new production assembly line as well as carrying out the daily monitoring & maintaining of the production assembly process. Provide training to operators on the product assembly process and machine operating procedure.
• Responsible to carry out Engineering Trial Run in production, which is require for process change, ECR and 2nd source qualification 5. Carry out continuous improvement projects to improve the efficiency of equipment and processes and any ad-hoc assignments.

What you bring

Experience

• 2 - 3 years' experience in production & manufacturing engineering

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Personal competencies

1. Operational skills in a manufacturing environment
2. Able to read & understand 2D / 3D drawing & circuit diagram
3. Experienced in trouble-shooting on failure in circuit board and mechanical assembly
4. Experienced in handling non-conformance material and perform process validation

Facility Operations Support:

· Assist in the maintenance and operation of facility systems (HVAC, power, plumbing, fire safety).

· Participate in preventive maintenance under senior engineers, ensuring all tasks comply with safety and operational standards.

· Monitor mechanical and electrical systems, promptly reporting any malfunctions.

Corrective Maintenance:

· Support the team in diagnosing and repairing equipment failures.

· Ensure all corrective maintenance actions are documented according to established protocols.

· Data Monitoring and Reporting:

· Track and log system performance data (temperature, humidity, power consumption).

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and incidents in the CMMS.

· Prepare performance reports for review by senior engineers, highlighting any irregularities.

Incident Response:

· Assist during facility emergencies, such as equipment failures or power outages, by following established response procedures.

· Help identify the root causes of incidents and implement corrective actions to restore operations.

· Vendor and Contractor Coordination:

· Support the coordination of external vendors and contractors during scheduled maintenance or equipment installations.

· Ensure vendors follow safety protocols and comply with site-specific procedures.

· Report any issues encountered during vendor activities to supervising engineers.

· Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:

· Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations while working.

· Participate in safety training and drills.

· Report unsafe conditions or incidents to supervisors promptly.

Continuous Improvement:

· Contribute to continuous improvement programs aimed at enhancing facility operations and efficiency.

· Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance system performance.

· Learning and Development:

· Continuously develop technical skills and stay updated on facility management trends and technologies.

· Seek hands-on experience and learn from senior engineers to handle more complex tasks.

· Basic knowledge of facility systems (HVAC, power, fire safety).
