The Market Region CHFL is further developing its organization and putting in place the AVQ location strategy. Resources are located in best location to further optimize the cost-performance relation. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Manager SOC/MNL to join our team in Makati City, Philippines. This key leadership role will oversee our Shared Operations Center (SOC) and drive operational excellence while aligning with our overall business strategy.

  • Act as Business Manager of the SOC/MNL and in this function the Business Manager SOC/MNL reports to Chief of Staff /Head Business Development CHFL
  • Develops and implement strategic plans to optimize the performance of the SOC, builds KPI concept to measure efficiency and chargeability of the resources and to track operational success

The Test Management Team is accountable to manage the various test campaigns in the context of the maintenance of the application landscape of our clients during SIT (System Integration Test – internally) and UAT (User Acceptance Test – with the client) phases.

The team is also responsible to plan and manage the End of Period tests (end of Quarter, end of Year). The team has ownership on the test environments, including environment refresh, software installation and environment readiness assessments.

This position is not related to test automation, and we are not looking for candidates specialized in test automation activities. The role also follows a mid -shift schedule (European time zone) 

Your key tasks:

  • Management of the release processes for changes in the software related to Avaloq products.
  • Coordinate and plan the test campaign for monthly client releases (UPL) and Hot Fixes (EME)
  • Coordinate and plan the test simulation of End of Period for all clients.
  • Ensure Test environment availability for Client UAT.
  • Track and distribute test results to management and client.

 Job Description

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer in the Credit Core team, you will innovate and maintain our Core Product and ABR/S baseline in the area of Credit. You'll collaborate closely with our Tech Lead, Business Analysts and other Software Engineers from the team. Furthermore you'll exchange with stakeholders outside the team including customers and software partners.

As a Software Engineer in Credit Core you'll take over component-ownership for Core components as well as ABR/S software-components.
 

  • To become an expert and take ownership within one of the credit areas
  • To implement new business functionality on the appropriate software layer and add automated tests
  • Work with your colleagues to maintain the functionality within the team’s area of expertise
  • To write solution designs for new developments and have them reviewed with our technical leads and architects
  • To participate in client workshops and support our business analysts in requirements analysis
  • To collaborate with colleagues both within and outside the team
 Qualifications
  • University degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics or equivalent
  • Proven track record working in a software development team using PL/SQL
  • Professional knowledge of PL/SQL and relational database systems
  • It would be a bonus if you have knowledge related to Credit 
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
  • Excellent client-orientation and strong communication skills in English
  • Experience of agile methodologies

 Job Description

As a new member of the Accounting MNL team, you will be part of a team of accounting experts. You will play a vital role in supporting the company's financial operations.  Your responsibilities will focus on financial reporting, supporting the audit process and collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.  The role offers the opportunity to develop your accounting skills in a dynamic and international environment while contributing to the company's operational excellence

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly financial statements for management reporting
  • Preparation of annual statutory financial statements
  • Act as the main contact person for the statutory audit process, coordinating with external auditors and internal teams to provide the required documentation, respond to audit queries and ensure timely completion of audit requirements
  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system
  • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, reconciliations and maintaining supporting documentation for all transactions
  • Monitor and manage cash balances, assist with cash flow tracking to support the company’s liquidity needs
  • Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements in all daily activities
  • Partner with other departments such as HR, Procurement, and Operations to gather necessary information, resolve discrepancies, and support cross-functional initiatives.
 Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or a related field
  • CPA or other accounting certification is highly desirable but not required for entry-level

Professional experience and skills:

  • Experience or internship in general accounting is an advantage
  • Solid understanding of general accounting principles and practices
  • Familiarity with month-end reporting processes and best practices
  • Strong acumen in applying IFRS, PFRS and local regulatory requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of corporate tax and BIR regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with SAP ERP is a plus
  • Proficient in English, both oral and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and integrity in handling financial data
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, can work independently and with strong organization skills
