A Senior Telecommunications Design Engineer is responsible for leading all phases of telecom designs, including leading the client, understanding the client's standards, developing drawings, specifications, and bill of materials, and assisting project managers and principals on the project. - Lead, develop, and manage punch lists for each system; support the development of transition and move plans; support final commissioning of systems and end-user training while tracking and managing close-out activities and documentation.
- Attend professional developmental seminars and conferences to stay abreast of industry changes and advances.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Lead Designer, with a proven track record of leading design meetings, developing telecom system designs, writing specifications, creating bills of materials, reviewing submittals and test reports, and providing construction administration support.
- At least 10 years of professional experience within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid or remote environment, from a TYLin office, or on-site at client locations, depending on project requirements.
