This is a remote position.
As a QA Specialist, you will be responsible for the review and testing of various Digital Assets developed by the development team. This ranges from banner ads to content and e-commerce websites, to mobile applications and tech-driven on-ground solutions. Responsibilities of the role: • Perform various types of testing, depending on project scope. Such as: • Front-end / UI Testing • Functional Testing • Performance Testing • API Testing • Load Testing • Speed Testing • Smoke Testing • Write/ Create necessary testing documentation, such as (but not limited to): • Test plan • Test scripts • UAT scripts • Be involved in the entire development process (including requirements) • Able to write, review, revise and verify quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation. • Participate in review of standards, procedures, tools and process. • Monitor, manage and communicate with developers on defects. • Prepare and develop test strategies and test plans. • Knowledge in test automation (Selenium, Cucumber) is a plus. Requirements • At least 2 years of experience as a QA testing in a Software/ Web Development environment. • Experience with at least one bug-tracking Software (Jira, Mantis, Redmine , etc.) • Experience in various CMS technologies , primarily Drupal, October , and other PHP based CMS ’. • Experience in both WATERFALL and AGILE project methodologies. • Experience with eCommerce is a plus • Ability to handle multiple projects, teams, and clients successfully and effectively. • Proactive and able to self-manage.
