Smiles On Demand by Vervent Philippines Inc. is seeking a highly skilled, proactive, and experienced Facilities Manager to join our dynamic team. The Facilities Manager will oversee the effective operation of Vervent's facilities in the Philippines (Site 1 and Site 2), ensuring safe, efficient and well-maintained workplaces. This role is responsible for applying best business practices to manage resources, vendors, and processes that support business continuity and employee productivity, while ensuring compliance with local regulatory and safety standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations, maintenance, and development of both Philippine sites, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-performing workplaces.
- Collaborate with IT, HR, and other internal teams to manage procurement, workplace improvements, and facilities support across both locations.
- Manage and coordinate partnerships with local contractors, landlords, and service providers to maximize service quality, cost-efficiency, and compliance with Philippine laws and regulations.
- Ensure all sites remain compliant with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards, aligned with Philippine requirements (DOLE, OSH, Fire Safety, DENR, LGU permits).
- Oversee installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of facility equipment and infrastructure at both sites; may be required to support rotational on-call duties.
- Implement and administer preventive and corrective maintenance programs, including work orders, spare parts inventory, asset management, and risk-based maintenance systems.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation for both sites, including equipment records, permits, service reports, calibration certificates, and vendor contracts.
- Support Finance and Operations in reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis, ensuring cost-effective facilities management across both sites.
- Lead the creation and implementation of crisis management, business continuity, and emergency response plans for all Philippine operations.
- Draft, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and site-specific emergency protocols as needed.
- Conduct cost analyses, negotiate contracts, and recommend strategies to improve operational efficiency and cost savings.
- Perform other related duties to ensure smooth and effective facility operations across both locations.
