JOB DESCRIPTION
Contracts and Legal Document Management
- Ensure that all legal documents and contracts, particularly its health care agreement shall be in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and issuances of industry regulators, as well as to internal Company policies.
- Issue Quitclaims/ Waiver Forms /subrogation for health care members, when requested by the Medical Department.
Legal Services
1. Ensure the availability of legal advice and other legal services for the specific needs of the different departments.
- Guide managers and ensure compliance with rules and regulations
- Aid in developing company policies and position on legal issues
- Represent company in legal proceedings (administrative boards, regulatory bodies, etc)
Compliance and Monitoring
Ensure compliance and reportorial requirements of various regulatory bodies;
Develop, review, and update policies, manual and/or guidelines for compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering Act and the Data Privacy Act.
Ensure prompt submission of reportorial requirements with the Anti-Money Laundering Council and the National Privacy Council.
Corporate Housekeeping
- Performance of Assistant Corporate Secretarial Services which covers ensuring completeness of materials for Board Members.
Improvement of business processes and best practices
Continue to research and update his/her legal knowledge and competencies applicable to the business requirements and processes of the Unit;
Anticipate and guard Company against legal risks.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor. Bar Passer and must be in good standing.
Experience: Minimum 3 years work experience in corporate setup or in a related field with management experience;
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Interpersonal skills that enable the incumbent to work with, motivate and influence people at all levels;
Written and spoken communication skills that allow the incumbent to inform and advise others clearly;
With excellent analytical, organizational and leadership skills;
Proficient in MS applications;
Must be of good moral character and interpersonal skills;
