Under the supervision of the Project / Maintenance Manager, the Marine Electrician is responsible for coordinating and executing repairs, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on including, but not limited to, indoor lighting systems; electrical systems and apparatus; main power distribution systems and panel boards; outdoor facility lighting; construction projects and HVAC systems, including on ships / vessels. The Marine Electrician installs and repairs wiring, fixtures, and equipment for all electrical services aboard ship and in shipyard facilities, following blueprints and wiring diagrams. Marine Electrician is responsible for assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring and equipment, as well as inspecting electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or necessary repairs. E xhibits superior workmanship and focuses on a quality end product. Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure all tasks are accomplished safely and with an emphasis on quality. Completes all tasks in accordance with local Safety, Environmental, and Health directives. Addresses customer concerns in a prompt professional and courteous manner.
Responsibilities
Major Job Activities:
+ Installs conduit to bulkheads with brackets and screws, using hand tools, and threads wires through conduit to terminals, for example connection boxes, circuit breakers, voltage regulators, and switch panels.
+ Performs maintenance and repair of generators, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, electrical motors, distribution panels, alarm and lighting circuits. Examine electrical system of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, like ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to confirm compatibility of system.
+ Installs and alters electrical systems aboard ships.
+ Strips insulation from wire ends and solders ends to terminals, using stripping pliers and soldering iron. Connects power-supply circuits to radio, radar, sonar, fire control, and other electronic equipment. Place passage pipes, or tubing, within selected partitions, walls, or alternative hidden areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the passage to finish circuits between boxes.
+ Tests electrical characteristics, for example, voltage, resistance, and phase angle, in circuits, using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and phase rotation indicators.
+ Troubleshoots electrical equipment and circuits using appropriate test equipment to detect and perform required maintenance, repairs, or replacement requirements.
+ Maintains adequate inventories of electrical spare parts and requisitions replacements as required.
+ Understands the use of all tools of the electrical trade and expected to accomplish more complex tasks associated with electrical installation of cable, connectors, panel box, and power terminations, etc.
+ Diagnoses faulty systems, apparatus, or parts, using equipment and hand tools.
+ Works on the installation of ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, like motors
+ Directs or trains other employees to put in, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.

+ Requires intermediate to advanced knowledge and fluency of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
+ Strong analytical skills.
Working Environment & Physical Activities:
+ Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions.
+ Subject to both environmental conditions occurring inside and outside.
+ The worker is subject to noise and hazards to include a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
+ Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Qualifications
Education:
+ High School Diploma
Experience:
+ Must be a Marine Electrician with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience working in ship repair onboard U.S. Navy ships (technical education may be substituted for a portion of the experience requirement)
+ Ability to read blueprints. Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
+ Individual must have a keen attention to detail and be quality metric driven. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
+ Preferred: Successful completion of Navy "A" School or successful completion of a Shipyard or commercial Electrical apprenticeship program.

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen.

They design and develop manufacturing process and automation platforms and apply them for the realization of new product developments as well as optimization of existing products already in production. The Teams also support Product Development in the selection and optimization of tools for piece part production and the selection of the most suitable manufacturing concepts relative to planned manufacturing quantities, quality requirements and manufacturing location. They act as interface between engineering and production to ensure manufacturability of new designs and smooth production ramp up as well as support the research & development teams to produce sample manufacturing equipment, product samples and prototypes.

Job Description
DnD - Manufacturing & Process development engineer for Molding Process, Tooling & Design), with focus on productivity, reducing time, building systems, maintain ISO documents and standards, etc. Should get involved in NPI's, coordinate with team and implement TEOA. Should be a go getter & a team player. Must have comprehensive knowledge and thorough understanding of injection molding process, machines, robotics, and auxiliary equipment. Knowledge in Mold / Tooling design is a must.
1. Responsible for Molding Process, Tool Design development, (New & Old tools) Qualification and Trial
2. Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout
3. Participate and engage on product development, Tool Design, DFMEA / PFMEA
4. Work with Global COE Assembly to drive continuous improvement in Molding Technology / Process
5. Maintain proper documentation and for all Mold tooling, Spares, Mold and Process Set-up Sheets
6. Ensure all Tooling / Mold design drawings (Soft & Hard Copy) are up to date.
7. Impart trainings and development for new joiners, Technical Trainees etc
8. Multi skilling among, Stamping tool design and Mould tool design
9. Coordinating with inter-department and assists with investigations of reject product and the development of corrective actions.
10. Drive TEOA culture in shop floor.
11. Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineer for new product development and process improvement.
12. Assessing resource requirements and opportunity for Automation and Process Productivity improvement
13. Review of TEOA deployment
14. Review ISO documents and update
15. Engage in ISO audits
16. Visit vendors for Assembly tooling assessment (Capability, Know How & Capacity)
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering major or Industrial Engineering
+ 3-5+ years' experience and practitioner in the Tooling Design & Development
+ CAD Knowledge Must, preferably Pro E / Creo & Auto-cad, Solidworks, NX, etc.
+ DFM analysis, New Mold / Tooling RFQ
+ Stamping Tool Debugging,
+ Computer Knowledge, MS Office etc, SAP knowledge added advantage
+ Tool Room Process's,
+ Tooling Knowledge,
+ Know How on core competencies (Stamping, Tool Design, Auto- Assy is an added advantage)

Opportunity Overview
+ Designs manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters
+ Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability
+ Troubleshoot process related issues and fine tune processes to eliminate process-induced defects
