Key Responsibilities

  • Track UK-specific product trends across TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Reddit, Facebook, and other platforms
  • Identify fast-rising products, categories, and niches suitable for white-label and dropshipping models
  • Research and build supplier pipelines in China, India, Pakistan, Taiwan, Vietnam, and other relevant regions
  • Shortlist suppliers with details: LOW MOQ, price bands, lead times, quality certifications, shipping options
  • Research and log relevant
    global trade shows
    (e.g. Canton Fair, Global Sources, IndiaMart events) and identify exhibitors for outreach
  • Negotiate with suppliers to get samples, price quotes, and manufacturing capabilities
  • Work closely with the founder to develop a repeatable sourcing and launch workflow
  • Maintain an organised database of suppliers, trade shows, and product trend data
  • Provide weekly reports with recommendations on which products to prioritise and why

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5/10 years in procurement, sourcing, or e-commerce product research (company environment preferred)
  • Strong understanding of
    e-commerce platforms
    and UK consumer buying behaviour
  • Familiarity with how
    social media algorithms surface trending products
    (TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Excellent research and analytical skills — ability to dive deep and verify data
  • Experience sourcing products globally (Alibaba, Global Sources, 1688, IndiaMart, etc.)
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to evaluate supplier quality vs cost
  • Highly self-motivated, able to work independently and manage multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience attending or researching international trade shows
  • Knowledge of white-label and dropshipping supply chain models
  • Experience building supplier scorecards and price-comparison spreadsheets
  • Basic understanding of import duties, shipping options (FOB/CIF/DDP), and UK compliance

Performance Indicators (First 30 – 90 Days)

  • Identify 8–17 promising product/niches with supporting trend data
  • Build a supplier shortlist (min. 20 vetted suppliers) per category with price, LOW MOQ, lead times
  • Deliver a number of sourcing platforms and verified trade show lead lists with exhibitors and contacts
  • Present weekly product opportunity reports with actionable next steps

We are continuing our international expansion and searching for experienced supply chain and procurement professionals to work on projects in the Phillippines, the wider APAC region and internationally within offshore wind.

Role & Responsibility

Your role will entail developing and implementing a supply chain and procurement strategy, entering into contracts with the right suppliers, and supporting the realisation of the project in accordance with the project procurement strategy and contract management strategy.

  • The planning, implementation and execution of procurement and/or tender strategies.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts including service, consultancy, supply and installation contracts.
  • Provide guidance and advice to our clients on a variety of commercial and contractual matters.

On a day-to-day basis through the procurement process; tendering, negotiations, and contract execution; you will:

  • Look to provide maximum value to our clients in terms of quality, price and schedule while minimizing risks;
  • Lead and coordinate commercial, technical, financial and legal expertise from both our clients and within JUMBO, while in turn ensuring compliance with our clients governance and approval procedures
  • Lead and perform the complete procurement process including issuing of requests for information, requests for proposals and tenders, evaluating proposals, recommending the award of and finalising contracts;
  • Ensure that the procurement process is executed according to client policies and procedures, and documented in order to allow transparency and traceability throughout;
  • Identify all value items and their relationship within the scope of the procurement and set the tender strategy according to a well-defined awarding criteria;
  • Coordinate the flow of information internally and externally keeping all stakeholders informed on progress;
  • Finalize the commercial and contractual deal as a basis for the contractual finalization through standard general conditions and/or managing exceptions to those together with legal and the main stakeholders;
  • Achieve maximum value while minimizing delivery, quality and performance risks. Find compromises and solutions to drive negotiations to a close under time pressure;
  • Actively participate in vendor relationship management, including: general communications and regular meetings, maintaining and improving vendor and market knowledge.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking passionate and motivated procurement professionals that are aligned to our Vision and excited by the opportunities and challenges of working in a rapidly expanding international business. Ideally, you will have:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required to support delivery of your package of works.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a matrix organisation.
  • Experience in major infrastructure and energy projects is welcomed.
  • Experience with leading and managing procurement and tender processes.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Structured and methodical way of working.
  • Ability to project manage processes and lead negotiations.
