PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Engagement Management
1. Understand payroll, tax and related laws sufficiently to perform the job.
2. Understand fully client’s payroll policies.
3. Execute the procedures in the work program assigned to him/her by the engagement Senior Payroll Specialist and/or Assistant Manager/Manager - Payroll.
4. Update superiors of work progress; give feedback on work performed, difficulties encountered, and issues identified.
5. Upon instruction/approval by the Assistant Manager/Manager - Payroll, communicate with the client with regard to payroll instructions, issues, etc.
6. Make effective use of job-related tools (e.g. MCCAPS, PaySQL, Corona/Dorado, e
- Payslip, Nexus, Gmail etc.)
7. Produce deliverables that are 100% correct at all times.
8. Submit deliverables within set deadlines.
9. Assume new or different work assignments and schedules willingly. Modify work methods to meet changing needs of the team or client, without compromising ethical standards.
10. Seek and recommend efficient and effective ways to accomplish objectives better.
11. Show receptiveness to new ideas. Perform new and different approaches with a positive attitude and commitment to success.
