Background and Qualifications:
- Duly Licensed Nurse by PRC
- Preferably (but not limited to) with Dialysis Center / Clinic / Hospital experience

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides direct care to patients undergoing hemodialysis based on the rules and regulations established by DOH and approved company policies and procedures.
- Check and prepare all materials needed and ensure it is available before the start of dialysis.
- Reads and carries Doctor's orders and ensures that dialysis is performed accordingly.
- Assess patients using the nursing process before, during , and after dialysis.
- Assesses, inspect, regulates and monitors all machine settings and parameters.
- Prepares patient's access using the required standard for arterio-venous fistula and external access preparations.
- Communicates with the Doctor regarding identified patient-related problems and initiates interventions for the same.
- Administer medications as ordered and properly document the same.
- Performs, monitors and records pre-dialysis, intra-dialysis, and post-dialysis treatment vital signs.

· Reviews e-cart medications' and medical supplies' expiration date every first Wednesday of the month and gives the Nurse Manager for list of medications and medical supplies that will expire within six (6) months.
· Records medicines and medical supplies used from e-cart indicating date used, patient's name, medication/supply used, quantity, and name of nurse at E-Cart Logbook.
· Records replacement of medicines and medical supplies indicating medication's/supply's name, quantity, expiration date, name of nurse who received the medicine/supply and signature of Nurse Manager at E-cart Logbook.
Medical Supplies/Equipment inventory, maintenance, and storage
· Establish initial inventory of medical supplies, quantity and their corresponding expiration date, and medical equipment, quantity and their corresponding date of calibration (if applicable).
· Ensures proper labelling of medical supplies storage as well as proper placement and content of inventory card for each medical equipment
· Informs Nurse Manager within one (1) month (yearly) of scheduled date of calibration of medical equipment to notify manufacturer/supplier that will conduct calibration; collaborates with E-Cart Nurse for e-cart's medical equipment for calibration.
· Determines standard quantity of dispensed/"Out" medical supplies at nurse station for daily use; notifies other staff and Nurse Manager for any medical supplies misusage or over usage.
