Duties and Responsibilities:

A. Patient Care
Assists in the admission of patients into the unit.
Makes general nursing assessment of patients conditions:

Attends unit meetings.
D. Role in Patient and Family Rights Responsibility
Actively support Patient's Rights and Responsibilities policy and procedure of the organization.
Ensure that all patients are aware and educated about their rights and responsibilities in accordance to the hospital policy.
Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity. Identifies and addresses psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs of patients and their families. Functions as liaison between administration, patients, physicians and other healthcare providers.
