Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Draftsman to support our design and engineering teams. The role involves preparing accurate 2D and 3D drawings, managing BIM models, and ensuring design compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, creativity, and the ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines.

RequirementsKey Responsibilities

Prepare detailed 2D and 3D architectural, structural, and civil drawings using Revit or AutoCAD.

Develop 3D architectural sets from 2D plans and ensure accurate BIM labeling for Cubit integration.

Create detailed plans, elevations, and 3D models for interiors, joinery, wet areas, and other building elements.

Produce high-quality renderings using V-Ray and 3ds Max for marketing and project presentations.

Utilize Cubit and Buildsoft for quantity takeoff, project estimating, and BoQ preparation.

Coordinate with structural, civil, and hydraulic teams to manage BIM models and resolve design clashes.

Ensure compliance with Australian building codes and industry standards.

Manage revisions, updates, and document control through Procore or similar platforms.

Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and deliver accurate outputs.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Draftsman with strong 2D and 3D drafting skills.

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Cubit, and Buildsoft.

Skilled in V-Ray and 3ds Max rendering.

Strong knowledge of BIM processes and clash detection.

Familiarity with Australian building codes and industry standards (preferred).

Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Ability to manage revisions, deadlines, and document control effectively.

They are now seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join their team. This full-time, remote role will focus on preparing accurate take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates, while also subcontractor liaising, supporting tender submissions and collaborating closely with project managers to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings, plans, and specifications. Prepare comprehensive BOQs to support estimation and tender submissions. Review and interpret engineering documents, specifications, and plans. Conduct markups and highlight key specifications. Manage tenders and scope reviews using EstimateOne . Undertake subcontractor analysis and comparisons. Collaborate with the management team to review and finalise estimates. Assist with additional estimating tasks as required. Ensure all estimates adhere to Australian construction practices and standards. Work independently with a proactive, can-do attitude. Requirements Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the Australian industrial construction sector (non-residential). At least 5 years of experience as a BOQ Surveyor or Estimator. Proficiency in CostX  and EstimateOne  software. Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and standards. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred ).
