Duties & Responsibilities:

• To develop structural design of façade in coordination with the Project Managers and Project Coordinators to ensure that the most appropriate systems are applied to a particular project or window subject for design;
• Performs structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience;
• To ensure the most efficient structural design is applied on each project;
• To provide calculations for the purpose of ensuring façade designs are appropriate;
• To provide drawing for own designs and produce sketches to incorporate in drawings by AutoCAD Team;
• To suggest ways of improving the structural design and value engineering the overall design of the façade or curtain wall;
• To monitor implemented work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and standards;
• To review shop drawings and ensure structural requirements are considered;
• To use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment;
• To attend and participate in Client and Seapac internal meetings;
• To assist, direct and supervise other Project managers, Coordinators and AutoCAD Team activities;
• To organize, draft, and coordinate technical documents;
• To impart knowledge to colleagues and other members of Seapac Philippines Inc.
• To stamp and sign drawings and structural calculations;
• To work closely with the estimate and sales team in developing tender support calculations. These may include:
• Structural engineering calculations and presentations;
• Structural engineering section of project proposals;
• Structural engineering section of project cost estimates.
• Responsible in planning and conducting independent work, requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria;
• The above requirements are to be carried out in accordance with Project and Tender requirement schedules.

• Perform structural analysis, member sizing, and detailing for RC, structural steel, and masonry/CHB systems: footings, tie beams, columns, beams, slabs, stairs, canopies, trusses, retaining/perimeter walls, septic tanks, and ancillary structures.
• Prepare sealed (as applicable) design calculations, GA drawings, shop drawings, bar bending schedules, and specifications.
• Execute foundation design (isolated/combined/strip/raft; basic pile caps if applicable) using soil parameters from geotechnical reports.
• Produce temporary works concepts (formwork, shoring, scaffolding, falsework) for constructability and safety.
• Run value engineering—optimize rebar, concrete volumes, and connection details without compromising safety or code.

• Coordinate with Architecture, Civil Works, and MEPF to resolve clashes, penetrations, and vibration/deflection criteria.
• Respond to RFIs, issue Design Change Notices, and maintain a clean design revision log.
• Lead or participate in design reviews (30/60/90% and IFC) and BIM coordination sessions.

• Conduct site inspections and pre-pour checks for rebar, formworks, embeds, and concrete placement.
• Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and concrete mix designs.
• Investigate non-conformances (NCRs); issue corrective actions and monitor closure.
• Check as-built documentation for completeness and accuracy.

• Prepare take‑offs/BOQs (rebars by diameter; concrete by mix; formworks by material) to feed procurement and cost control.
• Provide design schedules, risk registers, and inputs to project execution plans.
• Track design‑to‑budget alignment and recommend scope/cost trade‑offs early.

• Design to NSCP (latest), NBCP, and relevant DPWH Standard Specifications (Blue Book); apply ASEP guidance where appropriate.
• Consider seismic, wind, flood, and corrosion exposure based on local hazard maps and site conditions.
• Enforce safety‑by‑design principles (constructability, lifting points, edge protection, concrete pour sequences).

• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) required; ASEP member and/or Structural Engineer (SE) eligibility is a plus.
• 3–7+ years structural design experience for low‑ to mid‑rise buildings or equivalent; exceptional juniors with strong portfolios considered.
• Proficient in ETABS/SAP2000/STAAD/SAFE and AutoCAD; Revit Structure/BIM exposure preferred.
• Strong command of reinforced concrete, steel, masonry/CHB design and detailing; working knowledge of geotechnical interfaces.
• Solid grasp of construction methods, formwork, quality control, and site execution constraints.
• Clear, concise technical writing (reports, calcs, RFIs) and stakeholder communication.

• Analysis: ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro.
• Drafting/BIM: AutoCAD, Revit Structure, Navisworks/Clash, Bluebeam.
• Productivity: Microsoft 365/Excel (pivot, lookup), Google Workspace.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives for bridge, building, and infrastructure design.
• Utilize Revit Structural, STAAD.Pro, and other relevant tools to analyze site conditions, structural loads, and design constraints.
• Utilize Revit Structural and STAAD.Pro software to create detailed engineering designs for bridges, buildings, and other infrastructure projects, with a focus on precast concrete elements.
• Design structural systems, including framing, foundations, beams, columns, and slabs, to support anticipated loads and ensure structural integrity.
• Incorporate precast concrete components into structural designs, optimizing efficiency, durability, and constructability.
• Perform advanced structural analysis and simulations using STAAD.Pro to validate design concepts and ensure compliance with applicable building codes, standards, and specifications.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, civil engineers, MEP engineers, and contractors, to integrate structural design elements into overall project plans.
• Perform quality checks on Revit Structural and STAAD.Pro models, drawings, and documentation to ensure consistency and adherence to project standards.
• Perform other task and duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of BS Civil Engineer (preferably with MS/MEng degree and/or certifications of relevant trainings in Structural engineering/Structural Design).
• Must have at least 5-7 years relevant experience in Structural Building Design
• Had experience in being involved to ALL 7 phases of a project (Project conception, planning & design, preconstruction, procurement, construction, closeout and post construction)
• Has experience in all aspect of the discipline for coordination (varies from Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fireprotection, etc)
• Have a good structural theory background.
• Have great communication skills
• Knowledge and expertise in various finite element software (ETABS, STAAD, Revit Stusoft most preferably)
• Knowledge and background in Tekla and Revit is an advantage
• Have experience with pre-cast structural elements (Required)
• Have experience coordinating with expatriates

Position Overview

The Rooftop Structural Survey Engineer will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections, assessments, and evaluations of rooftops intended to host existing tower facility colocation. The role ensures that structural detailed technical survey is obtain for reference to Equipment Colocation.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Inspection & Assessment
• Perform on-site surveys of building rooftops for reference by Client to evaluate structural condition and load-bearing capacity for mobile tower Colocation.
• Identify and provide detailed survey of existing structural elements (slabs, beams, columns, parapets, anchors, etc.)
• Identify possible risks such as water leakage, cracks, corrosion, or deterioration that may affect tower stability.
• Technical Reports & Documentation
