Client Specific tasks:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Offshore Accountant to support our Australian accounting practice. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant with a strong understanding of Australian tax laws and compliance requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing client books, preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS), processing payroll, administering SMSFs, and assisting with general tax matters.
Key Responsibilities
• Bookkeeping & Accounts Maintenance
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple Australian clients
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other ledgers using Xero or -
- MYOB
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• BAS Preparation
- Prepare and review Business Activity Statements (monthly and quarterly)
- Ensure compliance with GST, PAYG, and other tax reporting requirements

• Payroll Processing

Requirements
