JOB OVERVIEW The VP for Sales is responsible for leading and managing the sales team towards the achievement of the overall revenue growth and EBITDA goals of the cluster through acquisition, management, and expansion of client relationships, and oversight of business development engagements. Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and generate product development ideas. Identify and assess potential risks associated with business development initiatives in the assigned industry and provide leadership with risk assessments and opportunities. Negotiation and Closing Cultivate strong relationships with regulatory authorities, industry stakeholders, and key players. Lead the team in consultative selling, emphasizing the unique value proposition and ROI to position business proposals as win-win engagements. Monitor the status of business proposals and provide direction to close internal and external dependencies. Form strategic partnerships with C-level decision-makers to influence and promote sales. Develop negotiating strategies and positions by aligning them with company strategies and operations. Process Compliance Oversee all aspects of the cluster's operations and ensure compliance with the sales process. Implements process improvements to optimize sales processes and systems. Identify dependencies and opportunities for process enhancements, if necessary Contracts Management Create strategies to prevent under-performance and compliance failures, including the application of contract terms. Handle complex negotiations with C-level clients, making well-founded decisions and approvals. Demonstrate authority and expertise in navigating complex sales discussions and approving agreements that align with company goals and client needs. Actively engage with experts and stakeholders to identify continuous improvements through review and bench-marking processes. Other Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address dependencies across business and support teams, ensuring the delivery of client requirements while protecting the company's interests.Manage all strategic and operational sales, marketing, and customer relationship activities for the cluster. Ensure successful implementation of business plans and expansion into new markets.Requirements Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or any related courses; MBA is ideal but not required. Related Experience  At least 10+ years of proven experience in sales leadership, ideally in the IT solutions or technology industry. Experience working with C-suite executives and senior management to understand their business needs and tailor solutions. Solid track record in working with senior management and in creating successful sales strategies and solutions Demonstrated success in implementing strategic sales plans aligned with corporate objectives.
