Key Responsibilities:
Quality Inspection & Testing
- Performs inspection of all incoming raw materials and packaging materials, conduct in-line inspection from ingredients preparation to finished products
- Conduct laboratory tests and measurements on raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.
- Verify that all production processes comply with quality specifications.
Process Monitoring
- Monitor production lines to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Identify and report deviations, defects, or non-conformities to the QA/QC Supervisor immediately.
- Participate in root cause analysis and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and complete quality inspection records and test results.
- Prepare quality control reports and submit findings to supervisors and relevant departments.
- Ensure traceability of inspected and tested products.
Compliance & Standards
- Follow company quality policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards (HALAL, GMP, HACCP, etc.) when relevant.
Continuous Improvement
- Suggest improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in production.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on quality control techniques and manufacturing best practices.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field (e.g. Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Nutrition and Dietetic)
- Previous experience or trainings in a QA/QC role within the food or related industry is an advantage
- Basic understanding of food safety systems and quality standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO)- an advantage
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow procedures accurately
