Job Description

Position Summary

The Trainee for eDiscovery will be introduced to the fundamentals of electronic discovery processes, including data collection, processing, review, and production. The role involves assisting senior team members in handling client data securely and accurately while ensuring compliance with confidentiality and legal standards. Trainees will learn to use industry tools and software, gaining hands-on experience in managing large volumes of electronic documents. They will also support administrative tasks such as documentation, reporting, and tracking project progress. This position serves as a training ground to develop technical expertise and build a strong foundation for a future career in the eDiscovery field.

The trainees will undergo a two-month training program and will be evaluated at the end of each month. Only those who successfully pass the assessments and meet performance requirements will be considered for full-time employment and may be assigned to either the Project Management team or the Operations team.

2 Phases of Training

Phase 1:

Duration:  1 month

Activities: Lecture, Reading, Quizzes, Exercises

Metrics for Evaluation: Performance, Attendance, Attitude, Relativity/Ediscovery Mastery

Phase 2:

Duration:  1 month

Activities: Lecture, Reading, Exam, Exercise, Shadow either in Project Management and Operations

Metrics for Evaluation: Performance, Attendance, Attitude, Relativity/Ediscovery Mastery

Education, Skills, and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in any field

  • Fresh graduates are welcome
  • Experience in Microsoft office & Analytical capabilities utilizing Excel

· Professional English writing and speaking ability is a must

· Adept at learning, ability to learn new skills quickly and apply them accordingly

· Able to work independently and in a team environment

· Can work on PH weekends and holidays

· Can work US time. Flexibility in the set scheduled training week (including evenings or weekend hours)

· Can start immediately

Basic WFH Equipment Requirements:

· Stable internet connection, preferably at least 25Mbps and have back up internet connection

· Headset and video camera for video calls/ online meetings
