Responsibilities
In our agile, product-led setup, as an IT Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to support and consult the Project Execution and Portfolio Management product area. You will work closely with the product team and other stakeholders to maximize the value of IT, ensuring that our technology solutions align with business goals and promote continuous improvement. Your role will involve providing strategic guidance and facilitating collaboration to deliver impactful and efficient IT solutions.
The role requires a hybrid work setup, with a requirement to report to the office a certain number of days per month. The specific number of in-office days will be discussed during the hiring process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with fellow product team members, business process experts, and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of improvements and initiatives
- Governance of development and support activities to safeguard the integrity of the existing applications and services
- Provide technical leadership around project management solutions, ensure system quality, encourage collaboration, and support continuous improvement to align with business goals
- Understand stakeholder requirements, analyze, and extract those of architectural significance
- Formulate design solutions that balance goals and constraints
- Ensuring the solution's structure meets requirements and can accommodate future adjustments
Qualifications
- You have a master's degree in computer science or a related field
- 6-8 years of experience in solution designing and architecture
- You have worked with construction, project supply chain, or project management processes
- You have experience with lifecycle management of an IT platform (Requirement capturing, specification, development, and support)
- You have broad knowledge of SAP systems and how these apply to a project supply chain
- Experience with SAP modules (e.g., SAP PM, SAP PP, SAP MM, SAP PS, SAP Cloud Platform)
- Knowledge of enterprise integration concepts
- Knowledge of solution design and architecture of complex solutions, including web applications, integration platforms, and infrastructure
- Experience in Azure services
- Exposure to different technologies and project management tools
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
- A consultancy background
