The Role
The Construction Project Manager will serve as the
primary in-country project lead
for the build-out of new Spinneys stores across the Philippines. The successful candidate will have a dual reporting line into the Spinneys Project Team in the UAE and the Local Entity based in Manila, in the Philippines.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery and Oversight
- End-to-End Delivery:
Act as the responsible party in the Philippines, overseeing all aspects related to the successful, on-time delivery of all new Spinneys retail sites. - Design Review:
Critically assist with the coordination approval of all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Safety (MEPFS), and Civil, Structural, Architectural (CSA) technical drawings to ensure designs fulfil operational intent, comply with local codes, and meet Spinneys' standards. - Documentation & Compliance:
Prepare, manage, and secure final sign-off on all official construction documentation, handover materials, and compliance records. - Permitting:
Oversee the entire process for obtaining necessary building permits and securing the final Occupancy Certificate via the contractor, ensuring full legal readiness for store launch within the given timeframe.
Contract and Stakeholder Management
- Resource Management:

- Procurement Lead:

Implement systems for tracking the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) and ensuring timely delivery of all imported and local equipment. - Financial Administration:
Coordinate closely with the finance team to manage project budgets and ensure timely payment processing to all contractors, suppliers, and landlords.
Facilities & Equipment Maintenance Management
- Preventive Maintenance:
