• Responsible for processing of WVA field commitments and allocations in the Partnership Budget and Actuals System (PBAS) database and in the WVA Field Allocations Ledger
• Maintain integrity and timeliness of data in PBAS, including multiple year forecasts.
• Assist with the year-end carry-forward process in accordance with the agreed policy
• Timely completion of month-end and year-end processes to ensure accurate information is provided to stakeholders
• Update donor promise field forecasts in Field Allocations Ledger to enable field reporting and planning

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce or Finance
• With Post Graduate qualification (CA/ CPA)

Education, Certification, and Years of Experience Required:

a. With a Bachelor's Degree or a master's degree in BS Accountancy

b. With a license (Certified Public Accountant) or other related accounting certifications is an advantage but not a requirement.

c. Preferably with Software Certification in Xero, QuickBooks, and the like.

d. With at least 2 years of extensive experience in the end to end Accounting, Taxation & Finance Field preferably in an Accounting or Outsourcing firm.

Job Summary

Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of the financial statements, board book materials, other reports that may be required by the Accounting Manager and those submitted to BIR, external auditors, etc. Ensures the continuous implementation of strong internal controls within the accounting department and submits recommendations to the Accounting Manager for any possible improvements.

What You'll Do

• Responsible for operationally leading and executing from GL perspective:
• Monthly closing and reporting as per US GAAP
• Account reconciliation excellence
• Annual closing as per US GAAP
• Create Journal Entries based on financial information
• Bank open item management and resolutions
• Perform cash walk, cash forecasting, funding, and other treasury related activities.
• Compliance with GM Corporate policies and external regulatory requirements
• Interacts with internal/external related parties (impacted Business Units, Global Controller's Team, Global Finance Teams, etc.)

• Identify and drives resolution for issues (accounting or control related) within their respective area
