**PIG UNIT MANAGER/SECTION MANAGER**
**Brief Job Background**:
Pig unit or Section Managers oversee the overall aspects and division of a pig/sow farm. They
are responsible for planning and directing all production phases on the farm and implement processes and action plans. They basically provide daily leadership and direction to all farm staff to ensure that all safety procedures are in place.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Agricultural Education, Livestock Management, Swine Management and other related courses
- Has **at least 3 to 5 years ** **MANAGERIAL or Professional **work experience on PIG INDUSTRY. More years spent on the said field is an ADVANTAGE.
- We prefer applicants who has an experience in all sections of Swine Management especially in FARROWING AND BREEDING unit/section
- Experienced with a large scale of sows. Knowledgeable about Artificial Inseminations.
- Professional Certification on the said field is an advantage
- Knowledgeable about modern indoor pig unit/s
- Can work in a fast phased and high-tech work environment
- Has an experience on how to operate farm tools
- Initiator of good and productive planning and strategies in pig farming
- Must be willing to work in Ireland for 2 years and up
- Must be task and result oriented person
- Exhibits strong leadership qualities for they will be the one to manage and oversee processes on the said field
- Knowledgeable about MS Office and other database
- Must be good in making weekly and monthly reports
- Proficient both in verbal and oral communication skills
- Must be a good mixer and a team player
- Flexible, Hardworking, dedicated, diligent and can work under mínimal supervision
- **Fluency in English is REQUIRED**
**Salary**:
- **30,000 Euros to 35,000 Euros every year**
- 2 years contract can be extended up to 4 years upon client’s discretion
Work Assignment:
- **International (Ireland)**
- Accommodation and work permits will be arranged
**Salary**: Php30,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Digos, Davao del Sur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
