Job Summary:
- Accountable for supervising global supplier costing team responsible for supplier material costing and sourcing necessary to support UCT customer product, annual pricing requirements and costing roadmap.
- Competitive supplier costing is the initial critical step in increasing UCT's market share and driving to higher revenue for the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise the global supplier costing team daily responsibilities to support all UCT facilities, products and customers related to:
- Supporting "must win" customer product quotes
- Supporting category management team with annual supplier pricing negotiations
- Supporting overall supplier costing roadmap
- Assist in training a world class supplier costing team to drive higher UCT margins through reduced supplier material costs
- Liaison with NPI teams, Category Management and Product Management on critical new customer product opportunities or to be quoted by UCT
- Chair Kick-Off meetings with stakeholders regarding critical product requirements, confirm RFQ package is complete, establish expectations and provide commitments
- Ensure global supplier costing procedures and work instructions are accurate and clearly define roles & responsibilities of supplier costing team
- Ensure Purchase Info Record (PIR) information is accurate when submitting supplier costing information to ERP
- For "must win" customer quotes, roll up all supplier costs from supplier costing team to create a complete supplier costing summary including:
- Prioritizing "must win" opportunities to ensure timely execution of supplier costing and on time submittal of product costing roll up
- Review with category management team any non strategic suppliers chosen and receive approval prior to moving forward
- Ensure all supplier costing is completed prior to submitting proposal
- Identify preferred suppliers chosen of overall submissions along with reasoning for decision
- Ensure that NRE, excess materials, etc., related to UCT or customer liability are clearly noted
- Ensure that costing from non strategic sources have notes indicating reasoning behind sourcing decision
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Supplier costing and material negotiation background preferred
- Must have demonstrated experience in negotiations, material cost analysis, and ability to meet or beat requirements to support costing roadmaps
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to understand, and perform to, complex requirements.
- Proficient in motivating and leading a team of costing analysts to ensure all expectations are communicated, commitments are made in a timely manner and deadlines are met on a consistent basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategize and implement
S/4HANA Digital Core
solutions with a focus on
EWM
. - Support business assessments, build roadmaps, and advise clients on S/4HANA supply chain functionalities.
- Lead
blueprint workshops
for the EWM module and design optimized solutions. - Streamline warehouse logistics covering inbound, outbound, inventory, and advanced EWM processes.
- Manage knowledge discovery, configuration, testing, UAT, cutover, and go-live activities for EWM.
- Lead and mentor a team of consultants, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Develop best practices, thought leadership, and industry viewpoints on supply chain transformation.
- Support solutioning for new business opportunities and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
What You'll Bring
- 9–13 years
of relevant experience in supply chain management and SAP implementations. - 4–6 years
of proven team management and leadership experience. - Strong expertise in
SAP S/4HANA EWM solution design
, configuration, testing, and deployment. - Hands-on experience in at least
4 full project lifecycles
of SAP/S4 implementations. - Deep knowledge of
warehouse operations
: inbound logistics, fulfillment, outbound logistics, internal movements, and inventory management. - Good understanding of
EWM integration
