Role and Responsibilities
The Quality Assurance Engineer role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. As a Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the needs and requirements of the company's platform. You will assist the development team by executing various platforms to help clients’ businesses and operations with the company. Here is a non-exhaustive list of the main tasks you will be responsible to deliver:
- Estimate, prioritize and coordinate testing activities
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track defects
- Perform thorough regression testing
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Collaborate with different teams as part of the production support
- Monitor debugging process results
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
- Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM)
- Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design
- Willing to work for long or extended hours depending on the needs of the project
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Makati City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Bachelor's (preferred)
**Experience**:
- QA: 1 year (preferred)
