We are also hiring Medical Record Reviewers to review Workers' Compensation reports, diagnostic studies, IME, personal injury-related reports, medical reports from various specialties, depositions, and etc. There may be times that the candidate will review videos.

We are currently seeking highly skilled medical transcribers/medical reviewers who possess exceptional attention to detail and are capable of working independently from home as independent contractors. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling various audio formats and document formats such as PDF, TIFF, JPG, and more. The candidate also has experience in reading and typing doctor's handwritten notes. The reports are submitted in a Microsoft Word format, and for your equipment, there are no specific computer requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe dictated recordings/handwritten notes accurately and efficiently, converting them into Word documents.
  • Transcribe within 24 hours to 48 hours upon receiving the recordings/handwritten notes.
  • Follow formatting guidelines and templates to ensure consistency in the layout and structure of transcribed documents.
  • Ensure 98% to 100% accuracy in the transcription.
  • Proofread and edit all the medical reports for accuracy, spelling, punctuation, and grammar before submitting the transcription work.
  • Ensure that all clinical data, test results, and interpretation of the test results of the physician are recorded accurately in the medical report.
  • Communicate with the administration regarding any requests that are related to the medical reports that you work on.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines, such as HIPAA regulations, to protect the privacy and security of patient information contained in transcribed documents.

Requirements:

  • Any bachelor's degree graduate with at least 3 years of experience as a medical transcriptionist/medical reviewer
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Expert in Word and transcription system
  • Typing speed of 55 WPM with 95% accuracy
  • Excellent listening and comprehension skills
  • Excellent English grammar and pronunciation
  • Knowledgeable in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and diagnostic procedures
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and be flexible
  • Solid time management skills and flexibility to meet turnaround time

Work Schedule and Arrangement: Flexible schedule, any shifts (day, afternoon, or evening), work from home.
