The Opportunity
Allegro is seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as an Assembly Maintenance Assistant Coordinator. In this pivotal support role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our maintenance department by facilitating critical communications, managing documentation, and coordinating essential resources. What You Will Do
- Facilitate Critical Communications & Approvals: Coordinate with department/section managers/heads for necessary documents (e.g., for ETQ, routing, filing, review, revision, approval). Liaise with Maintenance Store, Purchasing, and Maintenance personnel for immediate processing, approvals, and delivery of emergency parts for production lines or down machines.
- Coordinate External Technical Support: Coordinate with machine suppliers or Field Service Engineers to secure necessary support for resolving major machine breakdowns and addressing technical inquiries.
- Manage Procurement & Supplies: Coordinate with Assembly Maintenance personnel for materials needed for procurement/raising purchase requests, including office supplies, batteries, inks, and other items.
- Support Audits & Budgeting: Coordinate with department/section managers/heads for reports and presentations required for internal and external customer audits. Assist in coordinating the final budget submission to the Assembly Operations Director and Finance.
- Handle Administrative & Office Support: Facilitate routine activities such as the in-and-out routing of department/section managers/heads documents. Organize and file important department/section documents and records (both hard and soft copies). Prepare photocopies/softcopies of all documents as instructed. Prepare, distribute, and follow up on memos, letters, and other written communications or emails.
- Manage Manpower & Visitors: Update manpower records and report to HR as needed. Receive and relay important telephone calls and messages, and meet/entertain visitors, escorting them as required. Handle reservations and bookings for technical training rooms.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Initiate and suggest modifications and system changes to improve the performance, effectiveness, and efficiency of your duties as Assembly Maintenance Assistant Coordinator.
What Will You Bring
- A graduate of any 4-year course, preferably Business Administration, Computer Science, or Business Management.
- Preferably at least 1 year of experience as Technical Support Admin personnel in a semiconductor industry.
