Access Healthcare is looking for Insurance Verification Specialistto be part of our growing team

Responsibilities

  • Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits through various methods, including online portals, phone calls, and electronic verification systems.
  • Confirm patient demographics and insurance information accurately in the electronic medical records system.
  • Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to obtain necessary authorizations for medical services.
  • Educate patients on their insurance coverage, including copays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket expenses.
  • Collaborate with billing and coding departments to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
  • Stay updated on changes in insurance regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Document all insurance verification activities accurately and maintain organized records.
  • Assist patients in resolving insurance-related issues or concerns effectively and professionally.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance knowledge and skills related to insurance verification processes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, insurance representatives, and internal stakeholders.

Qualification:

  • Proven experience in insurance verification, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, insurance terminology, and billing processes.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and insurance verification software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Must be fluent in English Language
  • Must be amenable to work onsite at McKinley,Taguig

Job Type: Full-time
