Job Description

The Business Intelligence Specialist, part of the Global Sales Operations team is responsible for improving the effectiveness of the Clinical Solutions Sales organization by delivering actionable sales insights and reporting to frontline sales reps, sales leaders and senior management. Accountabilities:
+ Provide insights on the business about how to meet/overachieve business expectations through in-depth business knowledge and data analysis
+ Deliver simple & and complex dashboards using Salesforce.com and Tableau reporting environments
+ Acquire an in-depth understanding of business challenges facing internal customers and develop solutions to overcome those challenges
+ Help our sales colleagues drive our sales organization to be more productive by building and improving key sales tools and train front end users on their effective use increasing the institutional knowledge of the team
+ Play a role in the monthly processing of Sales reports, compensation calculators and payout statements
+ Perform ad hoc analyses and presentations as required
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree holder
+ Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a similar business intelligence or data analyst role, preferably serving a Sales or Customer Service teams
+ Basic Knowledge of Databases (MSSQL, Snowflake, .)
+ Basic Knowledge of Data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI.)
+ Strong analytical skills with a naturally curious mind set
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint required
+ Ability to work independently
+ Strong organizational skills to provide timely and consistent support
+ Effective written and verbal communication and organizational skills
+ Knowledge of ETL Software (DBT, Talend) is a plus
+ T-SQL knowledge is desired

+ Working with other Cirium colleagues to understand the best ways we can drive data-driven decision making

Accountabilities:
+ Use skills in Data Engineering (primarily SQL) and Data Visualization (Power BI) to deliver high priority analyses, dashboards and process automation that enable our commercial teams to uncover insights more easily and be more productive - examples include:
+ Creating and enhancing a "Customer 360" Power BI dashboard for Sales, Marketing and Product
+ Develop, publish, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for Sales, Marketing, Product and One DS
+ Monitor and tune Power BI performance, ensuring dashboards are accurate, responsive, and efficient.
+ Write and optimize SQL queries for SF data driven tasks
+ Advise the wider team on ways to improve our customer data infrastructure

Non-Negotiable Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree holder

- Experience working with credit bureau data and solutions preferred.
- Strong communication skills. Speaks and writes clearly and articulately. Maintains high standard in all forms of communication.
- Proficiency in English is required. Other Asian languages a plus.

**Impact You'll Make**:

- You will partner with internal and external cross-functional teams to drive new business initiatives and deliver long term value-added product propositions for TransUnion’s customers. This includes but is not limited to the development of predictive risk management and business intelligence solutions for credit card issuers, retail banks and other credit lenders.
- You will participate in projects with statisticians & solutions consultants on analytic client engagements involving descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analysis through the consumer lending portfolio lifecycle, leveraging a variety of techniques (e.g., segmentation, logistic regression, survival analysis, principal component analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, scenario, and sensitivity analysis).
- You will design and write programs for data extraction, segmentation and statistical analysis on large population datasets using languages such as R, SAS, SQL and Hive.
- You will deliver analytic insights and recommendations in succinct and compelling presentations for internal and external customers and an executive audience.
- You will develop project proposals, sales presentations and promotional collateral to enable the adoption of integrated customer solutions supported by TransUnion.
- You will identify strategies and opportunities for customers to test and adopt TransUnion’s analytic products and services.
- You will foster a high performance culture and cultivate an environment that promotes excellence and reflects the TransUnion brand.
