Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Civil Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join a Japanese-led construction project. The successful candidate will supervise site activities, ensure structural works comply with design and quality standards, and coordinate closely with Japanese engineers and local teams to ensure safe, timely, and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and manage day-to-day civil and structural construction works at the project site (e.g., excavation, formwork, concreting, steelworks).
· Monitor project progress against schedule and ensure timely execution according to approved drawings, methods, and specifications.
· Ensure compliance with Japanese quality standards, project specifications, NSCP, and the Philippine Building Code.
· Coordinate with Japanese engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to resolve technical site issues promptly.
· Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including progress updates, materials usage, and site issues.
· Conduct joint inspections with QA/QC and Japanese representatives for verification of completed works.
