From branding and packaging to Shopify builds and WordPress websites, we've spent 25+ years building long-term client relationships through clear communication, dependable delivery, and excellent design — without the ego of a big agency.
We're now looking for a talented and experienced Web Designer/Developer — someone who thrives at the intersection of clean design and clean code. You'll work across creative and front-end build phases, helping shape and deliver responsive websites, branded landing pages, digital campaigns, and occasional brand rollouts.
This is a remote, contract/freelance role, aligned to AEST hours, and designed for someone looking to join a team long-term.
What's in It for You
- Work with a calm, professional team that values quality and long-term collaboration
- Shape beautiful, brand-led websites that function as well as they look
- Clear briefs, organised assets, and respectful working relationships
- Flexible hours to suit your schedule — as long as we stay in rhythm
What You'll Be Working On
- Full website builds in WordPress (custom themes, Elementor, ACF)
- Shopify themes, templates, and landing page builds
- Turning Figma layouts into clean, responsive, mobile-first code

- Page speed and SEO optimisations (GTMetrix, PSI, semantic structure)
- Integrating designs into CMS with clear, editable handoffs
- Light UI/UX adjustments to improve usability and flow
- Optional: Framer, Webflow, Replit, Cursor-based builds for fast projects
A Day in the Life (Example Week)
- Monday: Review two new layout briefs in ClickUp, start layout markup in Figma
- Tuesday: Build Shopify landing section from approved mockup, QA your own work
- Wednesday: Join 20-min check-in with Lisa + PM, hand off files via structured folder system
- Thursday: Optimise images and embed new Klaviyo form into WordPress site
- Friday: Respond to client feedback, action minor updates, push final changes live
What Will S.E.T. You Up for Success
Skills
- Expert in WordPress (custom themes, ACF, Elementor)
- Expert in Shopify (theme editing, template customisation)
- Strong front-end build ability (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Figma-to-code fluency
- SEO and page speed best practices
- Familiar with QA tools, browser/device testing
- Bonus: Framer, Webflow, Cursor or Replit
- Bonus: Experience with Go High Level (GHL) or Klaviyo integrations
- Bonus: Experience with general graphic design — including logo creation, social media assets, and basic print collateral
Experience
- 5+ years across both design and development (agency or freelance)
- Proven ability to manage projects from layout to launch
- Built sites with high standards for performance, polish, and brand consistency
- Comfortable with feedback, iteration, and version-controlled workflow
- Used to structured team environments (ClickUp, shared folders, Slack, etc.)
Traits
- Team player – responsive, thoughtful, collaborative
- Long-term mindset – wants to grow with us, not bounce between gigs
- Strong attention to detail — from layout spacing to semantic markup
- Communicates clearly and proactively
- Calm and accountable — even when juggling multiple requests
- Loves both design thinking and efficient execution
What Won't Set You Up for Success
- Waiting for detailed step-by-step instructions — we value autonomy
- Rushing through builds — we care about polish and UX
- Disappearing mid-project — we keep open comms
- Resisting shared systems — we use templates, file structures, and naming conventions
- Needing reminders — we expect professionalism and self-management
Working Hours & Setup
