- Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) of motors, pumps, and machines to ensure reliable operation.
- Perform regular inspection and adjustment of valves, chemical dosing, and other WTP processes.

Qualifications

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing Support: The primary objective of the department is to accommodate solid waste from different sources, comply with PEZA and DENR regulations on solid waste management. Responsible for the generation of reports, monitoring of implementation and attainment of the departmental objectives.
- Water Treatment Operations: Supports the WTP Manager in the overall supervision of the WMG department. Implements effectively and monitors results closely of all approved wastewater treatment procedures. Coordinate with the Technical Department for the implementation of all process improvements initiated and cost reduction programs. Monitors, analyze, and draw conclusions to reduce chemical consumption and cycle time.
- Process Residue Management: Supports the Manager of the department in the over-all supervision of GS department. In charge of the inventory, storage, sale or disposal of process residues and process wastes. Ensures proper identification and maintains record of weights and assay.
- Environment, Health and Safety: Maintains clean and safe department and for compliance with the company's EHS rules, procedures and regulations. Accountable for all environmental lapses attributable to the department during his tour of duty.
Education & Experience
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, Graduate degree (or with relevant technical experience) preferred
- A minimum of five (5) years of work experience in the wastewater treatment section of a chemical manufacturing plant,
- In-depth knowledge in water treatment and general services functions/activities, procedures and work instructions & extensive knowledge in chemicals (properties, handling, etc.)
- Knowledgeable in mechanical pumps, valves, motors and control systems
- Familiarity with laboratory testing procedures for water quality analysis.
Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) for reporting and coordination
