We are hiring a Water Treatment Plant Operator to support our food manufacturing facility. The role focuses on the proper operation, cleaning, and maintenance of the water treatment plant to ensure continuous supply of safe and compliant water for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) to support production requirements.
- Perform cleaning of WTP facilities, including tanks, filters, and pipelines.
- Handle sludge disposal in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) of motors, pumps, and machines to ensure reliable operation.
- Perform regular inspection and adjustment of valves, chemical dosing, and other WTP processes.
- Record operational data, prepare reports, and immediately report abnormalities to maintenance or management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, and government regulations (DENR/EMB, DOH, etc.).
Qualifications
- High school, vocational, or technical graduate (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field preferred).
- With hands-on experience in WTP operation, cleaning, and maintenance.
- Knowledgeable in pumps, motors, valves, and basic water treatment processes.
- Physically fit
- Experience in food manufacturing or industrial setting is an advantage.
