HCWH SEA is seeking a skilled Video Creator Consultant to support the organization's video production needs from November 2025 until December 2026. The consultant will be responsible for the production, storyboarding, and editing of two types of video content:
1. Short-form video series for social media and digital promotions
The consultant will produce engaging short-form videos throughout the period, tailored for social media. These videos will incorporate a mix of animation, real-life footage, documentary-style storytelling, selfie-format videos, and other innovative video formats. Video conceptualization will be led by HCWH SEA Communications team in collaboration with the consultant.
2. Long-form video for information, education, and communications purposes
The consultant will produce longer videos to be used for promotions and/or campaigning. These videos will also incorporate a mix of animation, real-life footage, documentary-style storytelling, selfie-format videos, and other innovative video formats, with topics and themes to be decided by the HCWH SEA Communications team in collaboration with the consultant.
Scope of Work and Deliverables
The consultant will be engaged on an on-call basis from November 2025 to December 2026 and is expected to deliver the following outputs:
1. 25 Social Media Reels
- 25 short-form videos in a format suitable for social media reels/shorts
- Portrait orientation (16:9), 90 seconds maximum
- Video recording and onsite shoots (for venues within the locality of the consultant)
- Support for storyboarding and script development
- Inclusion of English subtitles
- Incorporating a mix of motion graphics, text animation, real-life footage, documentary formats, selfie formats
- There will generally be 1-3 short videos produced per month, depending on the needs of the programs and the advocacy plan of the organization.
5 Promotional Videos
- Landscape videos in a format suitable for event playback and social media (2-5 minutes long)
- Raw videos will be either taken by the consultant (if materials are available in their local country) or provided by the Communications team (if materials are not available in the country where the consultant is based).
- Support for storyboarding and script development
- Inclusion of English subtitles
- Incorporating a mix of motion graphics, text animation, real-life footage, documentary formats
- At least one long video will be produced per quarter, or as requested by the HCWH SEA Communications team.
Note: The proposed quantity of video outputs stated above is an estimate of the number of videos we will need throughout the consultancy period. These numbers may vary depending on HCWH SEA's work during the contract duration. Therefore, the consultant is requested to submit an output-based quotation as part of the application requirements (see below).
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting in scriptwriting and storyboard conceptualization.
- Leading filming, directing, and audio recording for the video projects
- Editing and post-production, ensuring high-quality video outputs.
- Coordinating with the HCWH SEA team on content planning and execution.
