Qualifications:

  • Demonstrating a deep understanding of retail IT systems, challenges, and opportunities (e.g., POS, ERP, CRM, E-commerce, supply chain).

The International Technology Business Execution team is responsible for ongoing planning, administrative and organizational development activities for both clusters and countries. Specifically, the Business Execution Associate is a hands-on role that works in partnership with the Cluster and / or Country Technology Head to drive execution of various initiatives and administrative activities for the Technology team in the assigned clusters and / or countries.

**Responsibilities**
+ Support the International Cluster and Country Technology Heads to align to the new organizational model; provide support as required to help Cluster and Country Technology Heads navigate the new structure and deliver on their roles and responsibilities.
+ Prepare presentations and other documentation as required by the Country Technology Head including but not limited to country entity Board meetings, Country Coordinating Committee (CCC) and IT management forums as required by regulators.
+ Own agendas and action logs for forums that the Country Technology Head chairs. Prepare minutes and follow-up actions as required.
+ Coordinate response to any local regulator requests, working in partnership with global teams to ensure appropriate and consistent responses.

+ Manage local visits by global Technology stakeholders including agenda, logistics and communication events (e.g., fireside chats, town halls, etc.).
+ Partner with the global Technology Business Execution teams to drive communication, culture and engagement initiatives as required.

**Experience**
+ 7+ years' relevant experience in a Business Execution role or similar in Technology, preferably within the financial services industry

The Head of HR is responsible for leading the HR functions within Philippines. The role of the incumbent will represent the local HR branch in the HR Leadership Team and be the strategic partner to the Branch Management. **PH Tax Senior Manager as part of Tax Function:**
The Tax department is a global team within the Finance organization in Citi. This role supports the Philippine Country Tax Head for tax matters for all Philippine managed legal entities. The Tax Senior Manager reports directly to the Philippine Country Tax Head. This role involves interaction with all functions/businesses in country as well as regional finance and Regional/Global Tax.
**PH Tax Senior Manager ("TSM"):**
The TSM is responsible for country tax matters and is part of a team which is responsible for tax support on all country tax matters. The TSM ensures that corporate principles, standards and policies are applied within country and that strong controls to manage Citi's tax risk are embedded in Country processes and procedures. The TSM must be experienced to: (1) identify tax issues to be addressed by other countries in cross-border transactions and (2) have the ability to engage with and influence seniors within the functions/business.
**In this role, you are expected to:**
**Philippines Tax Processes:**
+ Prepare and submit all corporate tax (direct and indirect) returns and tax payments for all country-managed legal entities. This includes preparation of tax working papers and coordination and collection of data from various stakeholders ensuring its accuracy and completeness
+ Prepare the computation/review of all monthly/quarterly tax provisioning including reconciliation/oversight for tax balances on the ledger, US tax reporting packages and effective tax rate analysis
+ Manage the overall conduct of any tax audit by the Bureau of Internal Revenue and Local Government Units including but not limited to preparation and review of documents/information, and reconciliation schedules
+ Draft and manage correspondences, queries, audits, inspections, appeals and litigation from the Philippine tax authority, and manage relationship with local tax authority
+ Prepare and collate relevant documents and information necessary for the payment of local business tax, and issuance of local business tax permits and other permits necessary for Citi PH entities
+ Respond to queries/participate in meetings with external and internal auditors for corporate tax matters
+ Provide tax advisory support to business, operations and other functional groups/units on product programs and transactions
+ Communicate status of uncertain tax positions in a timely manner and work with the Regional Tax team to determine the appropriate FIN 48/FAS 5/Tax Contingency reporting
+ Coordinate and assist in tax process standardization and automation projects
+ Coordinate transfer pricing matters
+ Manage the risk and control processes of the PH tax team
**Regional & Tax Advisory:**
+ Provide Philippine tax support and product advice to business and operations functions
+ Provide Philippine based tax support related to U.S. tax reform, including effective tax rate planning, BEAT planning and execution of internal restructurings & corporate tax planning actions
+ Provide guidance to the businesses on global tax policies and support Global Tax in communicating and implementing U.S. tax rules, such as FATCA/CRS
+ Advise the businesses on their new business initiatives and strategies to respond to the tax and regulatory changes in the U.S. and the region

**Key Responsibilities**
The APAC Payroll Services Head will be accountable for effectively and efficiently managing all operational and managerial aspects of People, Processes and Partners related to Payroll Operations. This role should ensure people growth, development, and accountability. Ensure robust governance and control over the e2e payroll operations. **Responsibilities:**
+ The management oversight and delivery of all services and support provided by the Payroll Organization within the cluster(s).
+ The recruitment and development of high performing team members, including creating talent development opportunities for high potential staff and ensuring robust operational coverage and actionable succession plans for all critical positions.
+ The cluster leadership of all change initiatives impacting the cluster, including new supplier implementations.
+ Developing and maintaining strong relationships with all key stakeholders, promoting timely and open communication and productive partnerships to address common challenges.
+ The Cluster Head works in partnership with the Process Owner for each process stream to ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures and timely and accurate transaction processing.
+ Creates and manages the documentation of internal procedures and business requirements.
+ Interacts with customers on production and project support. Plans and executes complex projects and coordinate over a broader departmental spectrum.
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
**Process Management, Validation and Control**
+ Ensure Payroll operations throughout the region are executed in compliance with standard operating procedures and consistently meet the committed service standards (completeness, timeliness, accuracy).
+ Manage the Payroll "footprint" (location of resources) in the region, maximizing the concentration of resources in Citi Service Centers.
+ Partner with functional GPOs and GPLs (Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Mobility, etc.) to ensure that Standard Operating Procedures are documented, understood and consistently followed in the region, and that any requested exceptions to those standards are subject to formal review and approval.
+ Ensure all established operational controls and reasonability checks are performed on a timely basis, and that the results of the testing are evidenced.
+ Ensure that all Operational Breakages (service and/or financial) are documented and subject to timely reporting and to source/cause analysis, and that the necessary remediation actions are completed and tested on a timely basis.
+ Ensure Payroll delivery complies with all country legal and fiscal requirements and that all regulatory requirements are consistently met.
+ Ensure all Payroll processes are demonstrably "audit ready" at all times and assume management responsibility for the successful outcome of all internal and external audits within the region insofar as they relate to the payroll activity set.
+ Ensure regular, documented vendor reviews are performed and that appropriate measures are taken to remediate poor vendor performance. Track ongoing vendor performance to ensure full remediation has occurred.
**Management and Supervision**
+ Provide Leadership and Management direction for the Payroll Organization within the region.
+ Management and delivery against all cluster goals, including performance metrics, productivity commitments and financial plans.
+ Partner with the global Payroll GPO on payroll vendor selection. Lead the cluster implementation of vendor changes, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and in compliance with all Citi TPM and Operational Readiness requirements.
+ Identify opportunities for and drive improvement in control processes, delivery practices and systems.
+ Share identified best practices and implement practices that have been pioneered in other cluster and/or functions.
+ Provide leadership to ensure the timely cluster implementation of global initiatives.
+ Drive talent development for the cluster Payroll organization, including the development of actionable succession plans for all critical positions.
+ Actively support employee engagement activities for the region to promote timely two-way communication and a strong sense of ownership and common purpose across the team.
+ Represent the Payroll organization in meetings with Citi's cluster leadership team and with senior visitors to the region.
+ Represent and advocate for the needs of the region in Payroll leadership forums.
**Qualifications:**
+ 15+ years of experience in a related role
+ Requires basic commercial awareness.
+ Ability to provide evaluative judgment based on analysis.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
**Skills and qualifications**
+ Experience in an Payroll and/ or HR Services environment is beneficial.
+ Demonstrated leadership experience in the operation and standardization of multi-country payroll environments, including expatriates, benefits and payroll accounting and general accounting.
+ Experience in Change and Project Management
+ Strong payroll processing and tax knowledge
+ Strong people management and leadership skills
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The US Reg Reporting Lead Analyst will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of schedules related to the filing of several key US Regulatory Reports including FFIEC 009/a, FR 2510 and FR 2436. This position requires a high degree of discretion and authority to ensure that the compilation, analysis, and reporting of Citi's financials to the Federal Reserve are conducted in accordance with regulatory and internal standards.
