As a Data Services Associate (Data Quality & Reporting Associate), you will be responsible for working with financial and operational data to ensure accurate and timely reporting that supports business operations. You will work with different tools and databases to review, upload, and track data, as well as monitor and resolve alerts. The role requires keen attention to detail, adherence to defined processes, and an aptitude to learn new systems and procedures. You will function as part of a data and finance-support team, ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency in the delivery of services.

  • Maintain and track operational reports, ensuring data is up to date.
  • Monitor and resolve Energy ScoreCard alerts, identify root causes, and escalate to Data Management Associates where necessary.
  • Ensure productivity and quality targets are met consistently.
  • Report process deficiencies and identify opportunities for process improvements.

What You Bring to the Table

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in data quality, analytics, or master data, preferably in a healthcare or supply chain environment

Technical Proficiency

Error Identification & Resolution

  • Analyze and reconcile mismatched or missing OD numbers, pricing discrepancies, and inconsistent metadata
  • Flag anomalies in cross-referenced documents or market share data and recommend corrections
  • Maintain a log of detected issues and coordinate remediation with MDM Analysts, Contracts, and Category Managers

Reporting & Monitoring

  • Generate weekly and monthly reports summarizing data quality trends, error rates, and resolution timelines

Collaboration & Documentation

Job Summary
The Data Quality Specialist will support CARE's global Oracle implementation by ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and readiness of data across Core HR, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. This role will focus on identifying and resolving data inconsistencies, such as formatting issues, across data extracts from legacy system. The Specialist will collaborate with functional experts and project team members, including business analysts and change managers, to extract, clean, and prepare data for migration. They will also contribute to process improvement efforts and lessons learned to support future implementation phases.

This position is currently funded through 30 June 2026 but is planned to continue through August 2027, subject to availability of funding.

Responsibilities
Data Cleansing and Standardization

  • Identify inconsistencies in legacy data (e.g., phone numbers and addresses) and apply appropriate methods to clean and standardize it for Oracle compatibility. Use Excel formulas, scripts, or manual review as needed. This ensures high-quality data is migrated into Oracle systems, reducing errors and rework. Work with offices to help extract data from legacy systems.

Data Validation and Migration Support

  • Collaborate with technical teams to validate data against Oracle requirements. Assist in test uploads and troubleshoot data-related issues during migration cycles. This helps ensure a smooth transition and system integrity.

Process Documentation and Feedback

  • Document data issues, fixes, and lessons learned. Provide feedback to improve upstream data entry processes and support better data governance. This contributes to long-term data quality and sustainability.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is within FMD Operations/Data Quality Assurance team ("DQA") and is responsible for analysing and managing the quality of FMD data. This position is vital for ensuring adherence to client-service-level agreements (SLAs) and meeting data monitoring/reporting requirements. The role will represent APAC/EMEA/AMER and collaborate closely with the global DQA group, broking desks, pricing team, and quantitative developers. As a member of the FMD Operations/DQA team, the role will involve interaction with various stakeholders, including Operations, Technology, Market Data Assurance, Product Management, Business Development and Sales Teams globally to resolve market data quality issues.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Working with the FMD support teams to meet all SLA related reporting, proactively addressing any data content challenges.
  • Acting as a intermediary between the Client Services team and the Data Product/Strategy development teams to facilitate clear communication of client needs and expectations.
  • Monitoring and analysing applications and systems related to DQA, operations, alerting and distribution. Identifying any potential issues or anomalies in data flow and work with technical teams to implement solutions.
  • Define, test and Implement data monitoring tools tailored to various FMD data products, ensuring they meet operational requirements and enhance data quality oversight.
  • Performing regular review on content issue reports and setting targets for improvement in data quality.
  • Oversee the maintenance of historical data, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data uploading to internal databases.
  • Documentation of the data validation process and update of client content specification.
  • Systematic logging and reporting of content issues and data quality assurance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-5 years experience in finance and data quality or relevant experience preferred.
  • Willingness to work during North America hours.
  • Knowledge of financial products, OTC markets and trading room environment preferred, involved in operations, data management roles.
