Key Responsibilities:

Interpretation & Translation:

• Provide on-site interpretation between Chinese-speaking employees and management to ensure smooth and effective communication in daily operations.
• Translate written documents, technical instructions, and safety materials from Chinese to English and vice versa to ensure clarity and understanding across the team.
• Assist in translating and communicating important information, such as production schedules, material needs, and safety procedures, to ensure all team members are on the same page

Material Handling:

• Manage and distribute raw materials required for daily production operations, ensuring the necessary materials are available and accessible to meet production goals.
• Work closely with production staff to monitor inventory levels, ensure timely material supply, and avoid production delays due to material shortages.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure the proper allocation and handling of materials based on daily production schedules and requirements.
• Perform regular stock checks, inventory audits, and maintain accurate material records to prevent shortages or excess stock.

Qualifications:

• Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese (or other Chinese dialects) and English is required.
• Previous experience as an interpreter in a manufacturing or production setting is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or production support is beneficial, but not required (training will be provided).
