Reporting directly to **Asia Finance Shared Service, Team Leader** , the Finance Senior Analyst is primarily accountable for general accounting and reporting through timely and accurate service delivery.
**Position Responsibilities:**
Process Migration
+ The job holder is responsible to learn, coordinate and work closely with business unit in migrating accounting and finance processes which includes process documentation - creating comprehensive step-by-step procedure of each processes learned.
+ Assist the leader and the project team in identifying processes that can be migrated in MBPS. Assess based on migration criteria and provide feedback and inputs as necessary.
+ Assist the leader in providing updates in the migration.
+ Serve as the contact person of the project team in getting regular updates, challenges encountered, results monitoring of the parallel run.

The Financial Analyst is an individual contributor primarily responsible in providing support for the accurate and timely accounting and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. The role involves analysis and interpretation of accounting data, accounting and reporting rules; impacts to the general ledger and assisting in the development of lean process and procedures. In addition to balance sheet reconciliations this role has a unique opportunity to partner with our Operational area to understand business procedures and influence change to reduce impacts and risks to Manulife and our customers.

**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Prepares and completes daily, weekly, bi-monthly, monthly, quarterly critical tasks that impacts several balance sheet accounts and Income Statement
+ This role is responsible for the timely and accurate reporting/communicating of risks to management, clearing expectations and process changes are appropriately provided to the impacted areas frequently
+ Accounting/Process Model is documented and captures the essence of the business and accounting flow to align with the general ledger and accounting practices.
+ Identify system issues and engage the appropriate parties to resolve issue timely and accurately.

**As a Financial Analyst, You Will:**
+ Coordinate and assist with financial data reporting, including monthly actuals, profit review, and the quarterly President's Operating Report (POR).

The **Financial Analyst** will primarily be responsible for WAM Asia (Revenue and AUM) accounting and reporting processes and controls, supporting the monthly close and regional entries, driving regional projects and initiatives, and coordinating regional efforts on process standardization and documentation.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for monitoring WAM Asia Accounting and Reporting processes and controls.
+ Support in the monthly close for WAM Asia. Process include but not limited to preparation of journal entries, financial statements and Management reports.
+ To handle the general office expenses payment and fee receipts in an efficient manner.
+ To complete and timely delivery of expenses reporting.
+ To provide clerical support to Onshore teams
+ Prepare expense allocation calculation.
+ Prepare / review fee and debit note invoice to respective parties on timely basis.
+ Perform monthly intercompany balances reconciliation.
+ Maintain control documentation and prepare audit requests related to internal and external audit requirements
+ Be an integral part of regional finance initiatives / projects related to accounting and reporting, including ad hoc business requests.
+ Promote a culture of standardization and efficiency.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Graduate of a business degree of finance related course
+ CPA degree is an advantage, but not required
+ Prior experience for over 2 years in a Finance role, insurance or Investments experience would be an advantage.
+ Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-performing, and collaborative team environment while managing multiple, constantly changing priorities and ad-hoc requests
+ Knowledge of general ledger reporting tools and systems
+ Extensive experience with MS Excel including working with Macros and other Excel add-ins
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbal
+ Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently with less supervision
+ Proactive in executing and owning the processes and controls
+ Experience in Essbase, Infor and Power BI would be an advantage
+ Excels in a team environment interacting with both business and finance colleagues
+ Experience in working as an offsite support to business functions

**Job Overview**
Support business transformational projects including implementation of functional resource models, strategic enterprise models, and corporate acquisitions through due diligence review, transition and integration planning and execution, and closing activities. Supports with transaction post go live / close as transition and integration activities continue. Activities will include working closely with team members, IQVIA business partners and customer contacts as well as various functional leads throughout the organization.
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Analyze the trends of key performance indicators (KPIs), especially relating to financial metrics such as expenses, revenue, and profit margin.
+ Monitor KPIs and identify the cause of any unexpected variances.
+ Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecasts.
+ Develop financial models, standard reports and analyze them to support strategic initiatives.
+ Collaborate and support the management team and Department Leaders with data-driven analysis through scenario analysis, business development and financial modelling tools.
+ Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Supervise and assist with audits and other financial assessments as required and ensure that all entries are entered into the system correctly.
+ Oversee the coordination of invoicing and review monthly invoice for each contract. Primary interface for client questions and providing appropriate detail / information to clients. Review accounts receivable and unbilled amounts which impact days sales outstanding.
+ Communicate and coordinate accounting policies, practices, and procedures with relevant stakeholders.
+ Conduct monthly and yearly financial close activities and reconciliations.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Job Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree Finance/Accountancy
+ 2 year experience Req Or Equivalent combination of education, training and experience
+ Experience in Management Reporting, SAP/Hyperion an advantage
+ Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office Suite applications (excel, word, powerpoint), experience with MS SharePoint is a must.
+ Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good teamwork and problem-solving skills.
