As a member of the Avaloq Test Automation team, you will be part of a group of highly skilled, motivated and dynamic people that are responsible for a central part of the Avaloq Banking Suite. You will be part of the team responsible for Automation and innovation of test for the Avaloq solution used by banks in the Swiss market. 

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will work in close cooperation with Test Managers, Developers, Release Managers and other key stakeholders with the objective to deliver high-quality automation solutions that meet customer needs and requirements.

Your key tasks

• Give hands-on support to the team with the implementation of the software testing process, e.g. for dedicated testing levels and / on test types
• Define test cases and scenarios for new functionalities
• Support the team in their day to day work with test management tools
• Participate in the creation of new concepts in automated testing and testing strategies
• Develop, maintain and execute automated tests using Avaloq Test Framework, Java, TestMaster, Cypress, and more automation tools
• Understand the Avaloq Core and Front Banking Platform and the corresponding business areas

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
• Must have 5+ years of work experience in software developer or test automation engineer role
• Has firm understanding of the testing processes and methodologies
• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, JavaScript
• Knowledge of programming languages such as PL/SQL, Avaloq Script
• Quality-conscious attitude, self-motivated and goal-oriented
• Open-minded and a good team player
• Very good communication skills (proficient in English verbally and in writing)
• Keen Interest in banking and/or wealth management business

• Proven experience on manual or automated testing
• Knowledge in Oracle database architecture
• Experience with Orbium’s TestMaster and/or Avaloq Banking System is/are a BIG plus

We are seeking a talented and innovative Associate Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Makati, Philippines. As an Associate Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

• Assist in implementing test automation frameworks and strategies
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing
• Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline
• Analyze test results, identify blockers, and work with different teams to resolve issues
• Support improvement and optimization of existing test automation processes and tools

We're looking for a Lead Automation Test Engineer who is passionate about quality and innovation. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves solving complex problems, and wants to take a leadership role in ensuring high-quality product releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop weekly test plans, test cases, and test automation frameworks to support rapid development and delivery cycles.
• Develop automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.

• Execute a wide range of tests including functional, integration, smoke, performance, usability, regression, acceptance, and sanity testing.

What Were Looking For:

• Proven experience in both automation and manual testing (functional, end-to-end, regression, performance, etc.)
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with Robot Framework and any RDBMS preferably PostgreSQL
• Strong background in designing automation frameworks and writing test scripts for complex applications (multiple interfaces, microservices, APIs)
• Comfortable using AI-powered tools to enhance speed, accuracy, and testing coverage
• Experience with API testing using SOAPUI or Postman
• Knowledge of Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Cucumber, and Java is a strong plus
• Familiarity with JUnit is a bonus
• Solid grasp of QA processes including requirement analysis, test strategy, defect tracking, and reporting
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, with good understanding of product development life cycles
• Experience leveraging AI tools for automated test case generation and test execution (e.g., MCP Server or similar platforms) is highly desirable. 
• Prior experience leading a small QA/testing team
• Experience in conducting training or knowledge transfer sessions is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The Mobile QA Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile applications across multiple projects and platforms (iOS and Android). This position demands a high level of expertise and attention to detail.

• Meticulously design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases for mobile applications, ensuring thorough coverage across multiple projects and platforms (iOS and Android).
• Conduct rigorous analysis of test results, identify critical blockers, generate complex test data, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve intricate issues.
• Engage in in-depth collaboration with cross-functional teams to thoroughly understand requirements and translate them into sophisticated end-to-end scenarios.
• Maintain close, professional working relationships with product owners, development teams, and other key stakeholders to effectively manage risks and address critical issues.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development by staying abreast of the latest trends and best practices in mobile testing tools and technologies.

• Proven track record in testing mobile applications with accessibility and localization requirements.
• Extensive experience utilizing advanced testing tools such as Charles Proxy, SQL Developer, and Postman.
• Proficiency in automation tools including, but not limited to, Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or equivalent technologies.
• In-depth understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong programming skills in at least one of the following languages: JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Knowledge of Avaloq's product suite is highly advantageous.
