Technology Risk covers all risk services where EY is providing independent assurance and the preparation towards assurance to our clients where the assurance can be used by our clients to build confidence and trust with their customers, the general market/public, key stakeholders or when regulatory (by law or oversight) or contractually required. Engagements focus on the assessment and/or evaluation of IT systems and the mitigation of IT-related business risks. Engagements may be either assurance (attestation) and/or risk advisory in nature, and vary considerably in size and complexity.

**The opportunity**
All of our services whether assurance or advisory in nature are designed for the dual purpose of strengthening internal controls and, in so doing, helping to improve IT and business performance. In addition to assurance-related engagements such as financial attestation and SSAE 16 engagements, our IT risk advisory services focus on IT governance and effectiveness; IT program management and assurance; security and controls of ERP implementations; and business intelligence and information analysis.

**Your key responsibilities**:
**Business Development**
- Develop and maintain client relationships to manage expectations of service, including work products, timing, and deliverables.

**Client Service Delivery**
- Provide high quality client service, working directly with onshore teams to understand and evaluate client’s IT environment
- Working predominantly on offshore engagements. Communication, written and verbal, with the local EY teams would be expected.

**Engagement Management**
- Understand the process workflow related to work requests from initiation through completion and how workflow is managed within the firm's online tool for audit monitoring and project management.
- Perform IT related controls testing and evaluation for Information Systems
- Prepare test procedures based on control requirements and documentation of test results based on testing performed
- Report control deficiencies identified, to team Senior/Manager
- Use extensive knowledge of the client's business/industry to identify technological developments and evaluate impacts on the client's business.

**Practice Development**
- Adherence to EY audit methodologies (related to risk assessment and prioritization, risk responses, and risk management capability assessments), supporting tools and other materials.

**Skills and attributes for success**
- Good Exposure in (at least 1-3 year/s experience):

- IT General Controls across platforms (Application, Operating System, Database) for following areas:

- User Access Management
- Change Management
- Backup and Recovery Management
- Batch Job Management
- Problem/Incident Management
- IT Application Controls: Business Process cycles (Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Inventory, Payroll, Treasury, Record to Report)
- Generally accepted audit standards, and Corporate Internal Audit standards
- Experience with SOX, Internal Audit and SSAE 16 (At least 1 of 3)
- Working knowledge of:

- System architecture, business processes and system risks
- Application systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Hyperion, Microsoft Nav, Salesforce, PeopleSoft)
- Operating system and database platforms (Windows2008/2012/2016, Unix, OS400, Mainframe, SQL, Oracle, DB2, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6/7, etc.)
- Application and/or Database Administration (SQL, Oracle, Salesforce, Ultipro, Workday, etc.)
- Good understanding of industry standards and frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, COBIT5, ITIL, COSO etc.
- Strong written, oral communication, and presentation skills.

**To qualify for the role you must have**
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or a related discipline
- Previous roles-IT Audit Staff, IT Compliance Specialist, IT Internal Auditor Information Risk Consultant, Information Security Analyst and other related roles
- Must be amenable to work in McKinley Hill, Taguig City

Client Change Practice is a global group responsible for the management of significant client projects. The team operates globally in London, Chicago, Dublin, Limerick, Hong Kong, Bangalore and Australia, and covers a broad range of products and services across Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Custody and Investment Operations Outsourcing.

The Client Change Management group works closely with Clients, Client Implementations, Worldwide Technology, Operations, Relationship Management and Product to deliver effective change management from change initiation through to implementation and benefits realization. The group is responsible for program management, project management and client change as well as business consultancy and business analysis, brought about by strategic direction, client’s changes, industry regulations and/or operational efficiency directives.

This is an exciting and rapidly growing area of the business with a significant pipeline of activity. The individual must demonstrate a high-level analytical, consultative and decision making skill set as well as excellent client focus and proactively maintain and implement best practice policies and procedures within the function.

**Role Responsibilities**:
Project Implementation/ Execution
- Focusing on client-initiated projects of all types; defining, coordinating and delivering development and process enhancements according to agreed specifications and in accordance with the project lifecycle
- Work closely with Clients, Business Partners and Consultants to analyze, scope and document improvements following required SDLC/ BPLC guidelines
- Ensure all Business Requirement Documents are comprehensive and approved in a timely manner.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Draft and maintain project plans, governance decks, status reporting
- Effectively communicate with different business units at all levels when participating or leading projects
- Ensure project updates are routinely and effectively communicated to clients, business partners and vendors
- Ensure all projects/ key milestones are delivered on a timely manner, within budget,
- Elicitation of client and business need through structured interviews and information gathering sessions. Document clearly defined business requirements and validation with the client and business partners with timely sign off, including clarity on agreed scope and items not in scope
- Traceability of requirements from scope through to User Acceptance Testing
- Liaison with business and technology partners (internal and external)
- Responsible for user test planning, execution of test scripts, defect resolution and implementation
- Consistently escalating issues, risks, progress to ensure appropriate and effective mitigation

**Skills/Qualifications**
- A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience
- 2 or more years of Business Analyst experience preferred
- Experience working within Asset Servicing/ Investment Management with detailed understanding of 1+ areas of the Business: Investment Operations Outsourcing, Transfer Agency, Custody, Fund Accounting preferred
- Strong knowledge of a wide range of investment management back and middle office functions, from trade processing and settlements through cash processing, income and corporate actions processing, data management, valuations, client reporting and performance
- Proven track record of participating in successful change programs successfully (both technical and business projects)
- Ability to establish, build and maintain strong and effective working relationships at all levels across the organization and also externally to clients
- Excellent interpersonal and consultancy skills
- Ability to document requirements to a granular and IT specific level, plan project resources and timeframes, manage IT and UAT resources to successful project completion
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work effectively to multiple competing deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong MS Project skills, also MS word, Excel, MS Project PowerPoint, and MS SharePoint
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

- Skill in SQL scripting
- Experience in JAVA programming and Oracle database

**Preferred Qualities**:

- Experience in working with Maximo for any medium / large company.
- Experience in supporting asset management best practices definition and implementation
- Experience working in power and utilities, including the following industry segments:

- Water Utilities
- Gas and Electric
- Power Generation
