As a
Test Engineer
, you will play a critical role within our major programme delivery team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform both static and dynamic electrical tests on a wide range of rotating plant, from LV to HV.
- Champion and lead by example a "Safety First" culture.
- Oversee and take responsibility for electrical test records and reports.
- Ensure quality standards through a "right first time" and "on time delivery" ethos.
- Maintain company brand standards across materials and working environments.
- Provide excellent customer service, including interacting with customers, responding to enquiries, and assisting with complaints when required.
- Take responsibility for equipment, tooling, and plant in your area, with a focus on continuous improvement and maintenance.
Your skills and experiences:
- BSc in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
- Relevant large rotating plant skills.
- Hands-on knowledge and experience in condition monitoring of rotating equipment.
- Extensive experience within the large rotating plant industry.
- Knowledge of motor and generator testing methods, including static and dynamic loading.
- Strong fault-finding skills (preferred).
