About Us CGA Press Mashup.mp4
Campus Guardian Angel is the school safety arm of Mithril Defense — a U.S.-based defense technology company featured on national news and across dozens of states.
We're building a new category in safety: pilot-operated, less lethal drones delivered as a managed service. Our mission is to give staff and first responders visibility and time in the first minute of a crisis- so students, teachers, and communities can get to safety.
Our team includes Navy SEALs, SWAT veterans, engineers, and some of the best drone racing pilots in the world. It's not a typical mix, but that's the point. We're not here to do business as usual.
Why This Role Exists
Campus Guardian Angel is expanding its operational infrastructure to support national growth. As we build out facilities, improve internal systems, and scale our field operations, we need someone who can bring precision, structure, and initiative to the technical side of our day-to-day execution.
The Technical Operations Coordinator ensures that our tools, facilities, and workflows run smoothly by supporting construction projects, 3D modeling, and field operations while helping us move faster and operate more efficiently.
This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role with the opportunity to grow into a leadership position as our scanning and markup team expands.
What You'll Actually Do Here
Your work will touch almost every part of the business. In a given week, you might:
- Assist with construction operations management for the office remodel, including planning, scheduling, and coordination.
- Gather, organize, and maintain materials lists and inventories for the office remodel.
- Create or improve plans and drawings, ensuring alignment with U.S. design and construction standards.
- Test and provide feedback on our Tactical Operations Centerthe (TOC) app, helping identify bugs, usability issues, and process improvements.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures for marking up schools within the TOC app.
- Use your AutoCAD expertise to fuse and optimize Unreal models within Unreal Engine.
- Coordinate installation communications by providing clients and teams with clear instructions, updates, and requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure operational consistency and alignment.
- Take on additional projects as needed to help the team achieve company objectives.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a systems thinker, a hands-on builder, and someone who understands that great hardware is born from both engineering rigor and operational urgency.
You likely
- Have at least 3 years experience in construction coordination, technical operations, or engineering support.
- Have worked with U.S. clients and are fully fluent in spoken and written English, ensuring effective communication across teams.
- Are proficient with AutoCAD (3 years experience)
- Able to learn new 3D apps quickly.
- Understand U.S. construction standards or have worked with teams adhering to them.
- Have strong skills in documentation, process creation, and workflow management.
- Communicate clearly and can work across time zones (time shifting) and departments.
- Are proactive, resourceful, and willing to jump in where needed.
- (Bonus) Have experience with Unreal Engine, and general 3D model handling.
- (Bonus) Someone who loves first person shooter video games.
Why Join Us
This isn't just another product role. It's a chance to build the global standard for intelligent, mission-ready drone platforms- ones that protect lives, empower defenders, and redefine what's possible in field robotics.
- Real impact: Your work directly supports the infrastructure and technology that keep schools and responders prepared.
- Hands-on innovation: You'll operate at the intersection of design, technology, and field operations.
- Growth potential: This role has a clear path to evolve into Team Lead for scanning and markup operations.Mission-driven work: Every process you build and every project you complete helps protect lives and strengthen school safety.
