JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluating technical training programs. Writes literature and materials to be used in programs and designs exercises to enhance lectures.
- He / She is responsible for facilitating training courses as assigned based on his authorization and ensure appropriate conduct of the subject.
- Shall ensure complete and proper documentation of all the training conducted.
- He / She is responsible to determine updates on the training curriculum and presentation as applicable, prepare and formulate accordingly. Must ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle.
- Prepare training material and classroom agenda. Shall properly prepare all the required resources prior conduct of any training/s assigned to them as well as the complete documentation of the course conducted.
- Deploy training to targeted personnel and ensure that all of the students/attendees are strictly in compliance with the classroom etiquette and decorum.
- Assist technical personnel in trouble shooting and rectification analysis as well as mentor other instructors in the subject matter, content, and course delivery techniques for assigned technical courses.
- Serve in the capacity of examiner and panel member when the need arises
EDUCATION & TRAINING
- Holder of a relevant degree in aviation (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Aeronautical).
- Holder of a valid and current Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) license with airframe and powerplant ratings or a valid and current Aviation Maintenance Specialist (AMS) license with radio, electronics, and instrument ratings issued by Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) or Aeronautical Engineer License issued by PRC.
- Had completed or acquired the following trainings:
- The same training which they are going to facilitate within the preceding 24 months.
- At least two Aircraft Type Rating Course
- Maintain the currency of the following mandatory Courses:
(HFEM, FTS, SMS, Ramp Safety, PCAR, EWIS, Train the Trainer)
- 780 teaching hours per year
- Aircraft Rating immersion minimum of 40 hours per year
- With Airbus Maintenance Training Device Training
- Has attended Managerial Training or Leadership Skills Development Training
- Has attended any Instructors' Development Course
- Preferably with a driver's license.
- Preferably with a Passport
