You'll bridge the gap between art and engineering, solving complex visual and performance challenges in immersive, real-time experiences. Role Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize VR art pipelines across Unity-based projects
- Create performant shaders, visual effects, and technical solutions for VR on PS VR2 and Oculus Quest 3
- Work closely with artists, engineers, and designers to implement immersive and performant features
- Troubleshoot asset and rendering issues specific to VR performance and hardware constraints
- Build custom tools to streamline asset integration and real-time workflows
- Ensure assets and scenes meet both aesthetic standards and frame-rate targets for VR
- Support profiling and debugging across platforms, including GPU and memory optimizations
What We're Looking For Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proficient in Unity3D, with a focus on real-time rendering and VR development
- Experience developing and shipping VR titles for PS VR2 and/or Oculus Quest 3
- Strong understanding of shader creation (HLSL, Shader Graph), VFX, and GPU performance techniques
- Proficiency with 3D art tools like Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max
- Comfort working with scripting (Python, C#, or MEL) for tool and pipeline development
- Familiarity with performance profiling tools like Unity Profiler, RenderDoc, or similar
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across disciplines
Bonus Skills (Preferred):
