The
Tax Account
is responsible for preparing and actual filing of tax forms, performing the end to end GL Accounting functions from Recording to Reporting for multiple company codes.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Preparation of tax forms & actual filing.
  2. Preforms reconciliation on periodic, quarterly and annual tax
  3. Processing of intercompany transactions.
  4. Recording and monitoring of accruals.
  5. GL period-end closing of books.
  6. Financial and management reporting and analysis.
  7. Ensures compliance to internal controls , acctg standards, policies, and procedures.
  8. Supports the GL Team Lead in the following areas:

  9. Maintaining good working relationship with stakeholders and counterparts.

  10. Ensures a sound resiliency plan within his area of responsibility.
  11. Recommends and assists in rolling out continuous improvement initiatives with the RTR operations.

SPECIFIC SKILLS

  1. Experience with local or international tax compliance, reporting and filing.
  2. Highly detail-oriented, good time management skills, pro-active, able to thrive in a high-pressure environment.

At least 2 years of experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for such international clients.

Strong communication skills and client-facing experience

Proficient in financial statement preparation software such as Caseware Cloud, tax software such as CCH iFirm and cloud-based accounting software such as QBO and Xero.

CPA preferred; extensive financial statement and tax preparation experience also acceptable

Committed to a minimum 2-year engagement
