Job Description
Responsible for CICS, IMS DC administration of resources - transactions, files, connections
- Responsible for VTAM & TCP/IP administration
- Responsible for Websphere suite administration
- Responsible for MQ Administration
- Ability to perform File Transfer maintenance: FTP, CFT
- Printing administration: VTAM Print, VPS
- Provides 24x7 on-call coverage on a rotational basis and general problem resolution support to our service partners.
**Qualifications**:
- Graduate of any IT/Computer related Bachelor’s Degree course.
- Should have at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in z/OS environment.
- Strong understanding and possess working knowledge of IBM Mainframe z/OS operating system, control, structure, logic, security.
- Possess networking, problem solving and protocol skills
- Have a deep understanding of Mainframe communication concepts and be able to support mainframe connectivity design considerations.
- Experience with IBM z/OS system and subsystem software and components with experience to support, develop and enhance tools and methodologies for managing large scale global deployment.
- Must be proficient with problem determination, analysis, and resolution.
- Experience with System Automation, Performance Monitoring, Communication Server, CICS, DB2, IMS, WMQ, Batch Scheduling, Change Management, Storage Management, ISPF dialog development HTML
