Job Summary:

Under limited supervision, System Administrator is responsible for maintaining the computer systems of the company's Databases, Program Source Code security, and System Development are the primary responsibility. A System Administrator would be responsible for program compilation, maintaining reports templates, and updating of application systems. Responsible for ensuring that the source codes are properly and timely backed ups, and that the server data is secure from unauthorized access. System administrators also perform documentation, designing, programming, modification, installation of software and implementation

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Discuss with MIS Head and/or dept/sections, the data/information needed for creating a program.

2. Analyzes the gathered information to identify which data to read and what data structure to be crated

3. Documents the information gathered as form-part of the user acceptance requirements to be signed by the concern user(s)

4. Create a program using existing programming language and based on the gathered data, to create a user interface module

5. Create a stored procedure to extract and generate the data needed report creation

6. Layout a report using a designer to create the actual report requirement of the user

7. Performs program troubleshooting whenever identified problem is seen or experience, to improve the accuracy of the data

8. Performs program compiling to update and effect the changes in the current program

9. Create additional database/tables, needed for storing/retrieving information using MS SQL

10. Adds constrains and other table restriction to strengthen the data integrity and accuracy

11. Implement the system/program created among group of users, to replace their manual routine to automated one

12. Facilitate training of the users on those new modules/reports to make sure that it is well and completely understood and utilize by the user

13. Attends user concerns raise by means of Tweet (instant messages) to answer them in their need concerning data changes/correction or system verification that are only valid or with approval of concern department/section

• Integrate the Odoo system with other software applications, databases, and APIs as needed.
