Act as the person in charge of the Roxas factory's Sustainability and Social Corporate Responsibility (CSR) projects and activities. Organize, implement, and monitor comprehensive sustainability and commercial strategies, ensuring that our business practices not only align with environmental goals but also contribute to our overall commercial success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the factory's sustainability and CSR programs and activities
• Manage the implementation and socialization of the Group's Sustainability policies in the Roxas plant, including the most recent Responsible Sourcing Policy.
• Coordinate and ensure that the Child protection program outcomes are implemented in Roxas's factory.
• Assist in traceability data collection and align with the traceability data gathered on various sustainability and CSR programs
• Work closely with Makati Head Office (HO) – Sustainability Group for the implementation and updates of the activities and coordinate with the plant Admin for the CSR.
• Manage and submit progress reports on a regular basis, as well as other reports required by the HO Sustainability group, in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree graduate, preferably Agribusiness, Environmental Science or related field
• At least 1 year work experience
• With good interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
• Willing to work in Bo. Nabilid, Roxas, Zamboanga Del Norte.
• Willing to travel as needed

Responsible for the evaluation, technical assessment, and continuous improvement of wastewater and sewage treatment operations across all San Miguel Foods facilities nationwide. This role ensures compliance with environmental regulations, promotes operational efficiency, and drives standardization of treatment processes. This position provides expert advice on technical issues related to wastewater operations, supports CAPEX project planning and implementation, and leads the development and delivery of training programs. The specialist is also responsible for monitoring and disseminating updates on regulatory requirements and ensuring that facilities align with current environmental laws and discharge standards.

Education/Licensure/Certification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent
• PRC Licensed Engineer (REnvE, RChE, RSanE)
• Must have completed the 40-hour Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Training recognized by DENR

Work Experience/Exposure:

• At least 5 years of experience managing wastewater systems and environmental compliance in a manufacturing, agricultural, or agro-industrial setting
• Hands-on experience with biological, chemical, and physical wastewater treatment processes
• Familiarity with DENR regulations (DAO , RA 9275, RA 6969) and relevant LGU ordinances

We are currently looking for an
Environmental Data Management Specialist
who will deliver complex technical solutions applying the environmental data understanding and EQuIS experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement EQuIS data management solutions with the support of data management leadership and EQuIS subject matter experts.
• Contribute to project data management including data tracking, data loading, and data delivery.
• Learn and follow our data management best practices.
• Develop the competency to work on all phases of data management in EQuIS.
• Develop and implement project plans, work assignments, and ensure product quality, on-schedule, on-budget, and safely.

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, Engineering, or directly related discipline.
• 2+ years of environmental consulting experience (experience in environmental remediation field work, data management experience preferably using EQuIS software with knowledge of EQuIS modules including Professional, EDP, SPM, Collect, and Enterprise.)
• Some exposure to database or programming platforms (for example, Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Visual Studio, Visual Basic for Applications, HTML, JSON, Java/JavaScript, Python, R or similar).
• Understanding of digital workflows ranging from project planning, mobile data collection, database management, data analysis, and data visualization.

Highly Qualified Applicants should have

• 10+ years of experience in environmental data management, chemistry, analytical data validation, groundwater modeling, data analysis and/or visualization.
• With 5 + years data management experience, using EQuIS software with knowledge of EQuIS modules including Professional, EDP, SPM, Collect, and Enterprise.
• Experience with environmental software implementations in a consulting/industrial environment.
• Experience with designing or automating digital workflows ranging from project planning, mobile data collection and data engineering, to data warehousing, database management, data analysis, and data visualization.

JOB SUMMARY AND MISSION

This contributes to the success of Starbucks by developing and implementing company-wide sustainability and environmental strategies, policies, and projects.  The function includes providing recommendations on environmental regulatory compliance and maintaining company-wide environmental and sustainability key performance metrics to support continuous improvement toward sustainability goals.  The position monitors and ensures that sustainability initiatives and projects are implemented as planned.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Manage key sustainability performance metrics and communicate those throughout the company, including regular reporting to Starbucks Asia Pacific.
• Implement environmental compliance policies internally by working with service providers, NGOs and cross-functional partners.  Monitors the progress of sustainability initiatives and works with the sustainability team to ensure completion of these projects.
• Support continuous improvement toward sustainability targets by managing data for goalsetting, building a system for sharing best practices, and supporting the implementation of sustainability projects across the company.
• Coordinate with cross-functional leaders to ensure compliance with environmental policies and regulations.
• Engage with key internal and external stakeholders, such as facility personnel, NGO partners, Starbucks AP and government agencies.
• Support the Public Relations and Government Affairs team in communicating the Rustan Coffee Corporation sustainability story.

Summary of Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a related field.
• Demonstrated record of successful implementation of sustainability programs.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Understand the basic concepts of conservation and sustainable development, including energy conservation, waste management, resource and water conservation, and environmental reporting metrics.
• Basic understanding of Philippine environmental regulatory requirements.
• Ability to build internal relationships and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to educate and train internal stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate with governmental regulatory agencies.
• Advanced skills in managing large datasets.
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel.
