**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Create reports for multiple departments, including ProTeam Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Shipping and Logistics, Marketing, Quality, Finance, and others.
+ Work with the current and future software systems-Oracle ERP, CRM On Demand, Salesforce, Noetix, Oracle Discoverer, JD Edwards, Citrix, customer web portals, Sales Wizard, and others.
+ Provide analysis on usage, impact, and effectiveness of sales programs and activities, such as periodic product/account promotions, new product/program launches, and program changes.
+ Prepare analysis of sales and inventory trends used to generate monthly orders and shipment forecasts.
+ Work closely with the ProTeam Sales group, coordinating activities and scheduling, assisting with successful project management, implementation, and ongoing support.
+ Manage and administer various program components, such as pricing updates/changes, including administration of ERP system price data files, product eligibility, promotion codes, and other system infrastructure.
+ Provide training, instruction, and education to peers, leadership, and others on system usage, data comprehension, and report interpretation.

This task will require daily use of Shell's planning systems to determine production quantities at a material level to ensure that customer service metrics are delivered across the network while also balancing how much inventory is built to help keep working capital stay at proper levels. **Management of inventory settings and helping with order prioritization** The supply planner will manage the inventory and prioritization at the RDCs will work to set inventory targets across all SKUs at each RDC in their remit to help manage customer delivery targets vs. the inventory $ at each site. This planner will review monthly proposals for inventory targets and then make trade off decisions as needed based on RDC physical capacity and customer expectations. These planners will also help launch new products as they are introduced to the portfolio. **Coordination of deployment activities of pack and bulk finished goods between Shell sites.** Finally, the supply planner that coordinate deployment activities will review a region of the US and Canada daily to build truck load shipments between Shell sites (these are broken into South, Northeast and West/Canada). These roles will be focused on 2-5 plants for the daily work but will also be expected to be able to cover other areas of the US network as needed and work within the E2E Performance Team to deliver team targets. An additive planner will be expected to work with the operations team at the plant(s) to ensure additives are available for the daily production schedule as well as communicate back to a broader team if there are delays/changes that impact product availability. As such, the Additives Planner has a very significant impact on customer experience and overall supply chain performance for pack and bulk finished goods, as if the components are not available then the production schedule will be negatively impacted, which will filter down to product availability concerns for our customers. **EHS**
+ Attend EHS training, familiar with the company's emergency response plan.

**Qualifications:**

The Demand Planning Associate Analyst is the integration point into the Business Unit and respective General Manager. This position leads the dialogue each month for their respective customers and products with key counterparts in Sales & Business Unit (Profit center).

**Basic Functions**:
Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
Manage forecast exceptions to achieve Demand Planning KPI targets
Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
Lead consensus and BU meetings for areas of responsibility and advise Sales, Business Units, Finance, and SCM of significant risks as well as variances between forecasts.
Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Customer Operations to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts
Generate weekly and monthly demand forecast reports and presentations.
Manage Demand Planning and Sales Operations business processes.
Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
Job Functions

**Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to**:
Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating the ship demand forecast. (historical sales, market trends, seasonality, customer forecast)
Revise forecasts and recommend changes on monthly basis based on actual shipment, trends, wins/losses, new product introductions, and revised sales plans.
Interact with sales, business units, marketing, supply chain and customer operations to understand demand forecast drivers.
Develop top-down forecasting techniques for specific markets by using external market indicators. Drive top-down and bottoms-up forecast reconciliation.
Analyze, define, and implement forecast methodology leveraging product and customer segmentation strategies.
Continuously improve forecasting techniques, method, and approach to improve the forecast accuracy and minimize forecast bias.
Use and maintain the Demand Planning Tool/s as the primary forecasting system tool.
Update and develop demand planning reporting and provide insights, trend that might affect forecast and business decisions.

**Key Results**:
A customer demand forecast which incorporates current and accurate market information that allows the company to correctly predict customer demand and provide its supply chain with the appropriate information to plan how to meet that customer demand.
