About the role

What you'll be doing
- Manage the onboarding and ongoing relationship with suppliers, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and issue resolution
- Develop and maintain supplier databases, tracking key information such as contract terms, delivery schedules, and performance metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address supply chain risks and opportunities
- Prepare and review procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Assist in the development and implementation of supplier management strategies and best practices

- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supplier management or procurement-related role, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry

- Proficiency in data analysis and the use of procurement software and tools
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

What We're Looking For:
· Educational Background: Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, or any related field.
· Work Experience:
o At least three (3) years of experience in overseeing compliance, including management systems and regulatory compliance.
o Proven experience in leading a team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring team members.
· In-depth knowledge of quality and food safety management systems such as HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and Halal, including hygiene and sanitation requirements.
· Experience in risk management, identifying and mitigating compliance-related risks.
· Advanced experience in the Food Manufacturing and Food Safety industry is a strong advantage.
· Skills & Competencies: Regulatory Compliance Expertise, Risk Management and Mitigation, Analytical Skills, Team Development and Coaching, Problem-Solving, Internal and External Communication, Attention to Detail, Document Management.
